Great video brother. What monitor stands are you using in this video? I’m new and have been researching and have come across iso acoustics so far. Thanks!
Thank you so much! The stands I use are from Amazon: amzn.to/3Sc3ZJM 😊
These or lp6 for playing through a digital piano and using vsts etc.. ?
Both great options. Depends on your budget. If you have a small budget go with the LP6s. If you have a bigger budget then go with the IN5s
There are not too many headphones that have a "flat" response. That's why I use Sonarworks Reference software when mixing with headphones, allowing me to listen to flat sound on virtually any decent headphones. I have the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250 ohm and the AudioTechnica ATH-M40X... I also have the Kali LP-6 V1 monitors and looking to upgrade to the IN-5's (Picked up the LP-6 for $220 new)... Luckily, when you get to be old, you don't hear the hiss anyway 😁
Thanks for such an insightful comment! I heard great things about the Sonarworks software and I’m sure I t’s a great tool for mixing. The LP6s are great and served me very well over the years but the IN-5s are definitely a step up from my experience.
I also own the Beyerdynamic DT770 pros and use them in conjunction to the Kali Audio monitors. I’m extremely grateful to Kali Audio for sending me them and don’t feel like I’ll need to upgrade in many years to come (if ever) 😊 In regards to your setup, only upgrade if you feel like you’re not getting good results.
DT770 Pro 250 is stupidly bright at high end. I'm not a mixer, but I couldn't use it for listing music without using an equalizer.
@@mhnoni I never had any issues mixing with them and in comparison to the Sony MDR-7506s not as bright.
Hi, thank you for the video...in your experience, how does the low end compare between both of them...which one has more low end?
You’re very welcome! 😊 In my experience I hear more clarity and overall separation on the IN-5 even though they’re slightly smaller than the LP6s. If you’re looking for the optimal mix, the IN-5s are better in general. However, if you’re brand new to recording and mixing, the LP6s are much more affordable and still sound great.
Not sure if it's from a bad batch or if it's better than it used to be but my LP6 v2s still have quite a bit of noise, it's definitely tolerable but it's noticeable. I'm just used to using high gain amplifiers with multiple noise gates so I guess I'm just used to a little bit of noise here and there lol
Oh wow, thanks for sharing your experience! The LP6s I had were the 1st generation. According to Kali Audio the hissing should have been resolved with the LP6s 2nd Wave. With that being said, the IN-5 are dead silent so I’m really happy with the upgrade 😊
hello. may i ask. do you recommend kali lp6 for casual use (gaming, listening music, movies)?
Those are great monitors for audio production but will sound great as well for regular consumption such as gaming, music and watching movies.
hellooo im new with studio monitor. I am planning to buy kali lp6. how do you connect them to pc setup? what other equipments do i need?
You will need an audio interface.
I’ve done a few reviews on my channel but one of the most affordable ones is the EVO4. Here is my review: ua-cam.com/video/-6KwLO3m0FQ/v-deo.html
Hope it helps! 😊
Good one bro ...u r the best ❤
So what about headphones there is a lot ...dt 700.....m50x ...rode ..blue...neumen....etc etc ....whats the best ...? And what about some daws ...make a video about that ...nuendo ..cubase...studio one ..ableton live..logic pro ..fl studio ..pro tools...etc ...
Thank you so much! 😊 It really comes down to personal preference. My personal favorite studio headphones are the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro and my DAW of choice is Logic Pro since I’m a Mac user.
Stay tuned because I’ll be releasing a review of those headphones in the next week or so and I’ll keep that video idea for DAWs in mind for the future.
@@homestudioacademy yah very nice bro we are waiting ..god b u man ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Hi home studio academy! Good video as always! I am a voice over artist, so i am not planning buying a pair of studio monitors. But i really want a good studio headset with sound fidelity in mind. Can you recommend one? (below 150-160)
Thank you so much! I understand that monitors are more geared towards music production and not voiceover. My favorite pair of studio headphones over the years have been the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pros. Here is my review of them: ua-cam.com/video/xlhnLpI7evg/v-deo.html
@@JacopoGianfredaas promised here is my new review about the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro Headphones: ua-cam.com/video/Tn11da2TSwE/v-deo.htmlsi=KY7ChG8rdEH5CCNa
hello. bro can i use your video screenshot photo for non-commercial use? i will comment your credit
The amazon link for this product is not working correctly.
It worked for me but here is another link to the same monitors: amzn.to/3yZrz6D
Which one is better studio monitor???? Yamaha HS8 vs Presonus E8 ?????? My first priority is music production. I do mix master very rare
I never tried the Presonus or the Yamaha so I can’t say. I’ve been using Kali Audio for over a half a decade and they have become my personal favorites.
must say i miss the new yuin more, the tunings are just right for an earbud
I found the IN-5 to be very accurate and I’m pretty happy with the results for the channel 😊
Lots of people mix lots of great music on headphones!
@@officialWWM if you watched the whole video, my response to that is at 1:01
@@homestudioacademy nope, I didn’t watch, because you lost me with that very ill informed statement.
What good is a review which only tells us that this is better than the same brand's budget model? Comparisons to equivalent speakers from other brands is what is needed.
пилять! какой противный голос.
