They are so iconic of an 80s childhood. As if cycling itself was not fun enough they made it that little more epic for those lucky enough to have one! Thanks for the comment, Take care and happy cycling 🙂👍
I'm so excited for this collab Darren, the Street Wolf has been really popular with visitors to The Cave. I have to admit, I feel bad about taking it from your kids now!!!
😆 Don't panic Neil - they have plenty of bikes . I am sure they will pop up and see it some time in the future. Can't wait for the Collab - it's going to be loads of fun! Speak soon.
That's great to hear. My little one loved getting involved and hoped others would enjoy it too. Maybe you should invest in one for your kids to have a go on?! Take care and happy cycling 🙂👍
RMC Crew! Great video this, I love a good restoration and you've done a fantastic job. My Dad's office used to be right by the Raleigh factory in Nottingham so I owned many a Raleigh bike as a kid but this one seems to have passed me by. It's all about the era of big chunky plastic spokes and fairing!
Thanks for stopping by! Great to hear your story. This bike oozes the 80's childhood I had. I always wanted one but I had a mini burner instead - still a great little bike though. 🙂👍
Thanks for the lovely comment. This little bike was ripe for restoring and was a simple but great project. I will let my kids know they did a great job. 😁👍
I just saw this bike on RMC's PC Engine video that just came out. This bike was sharing the frame and I got hit by nostalgia lighting. I don't think I've ever seen even an image of that bike in over 30 years, but my brain instantly knew the importance of it! 😂
Brilliant, glad it made you think of the past. That little bike has many memories for me aswell and I would have loved to had one myself when I was little. I am still working on another project with Neil - it's going to be great. Thanks for taking the time to comment! Take care and happy gaming!
Classic repair that 🙂👍 this button was a cheap motorcycle horn button replacement on Amazon. Luckily it looks a little more authentic than a doorbell! Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment!
The noises rule, or certainly did when I was a nipper. They were certainly bikes with character! Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Take care and happy cycling!
The Vektar was unforgettable that's for sure. I am really looking forward to getting that one finished. Make sure you keep an eye out for that one!!! Thanks for stopping by 🙂👍
Oh the kick of nostalgia! It's always nice to see childhood toys like this in used and enjoyed, but well looked after condition. Really looking forward to seeing the Vector in the future. RMC was already on my short list of places to visit, hopefully this year... Mighty have to delay until the Vector is done and hopefully see them both together. I hadn't realised just how nostalgic I feel about my childhood bicycles, until I saw your lad on that lovely Peugeot. Didn't have that model, but it did suddenly have me thinking of my first "Racer"; a small Peugeot with a bright white frame. I just can't recall if it was 3-speed, or 5-speed.
Hi Damien, thanks for stopping by and reminiscing! I think your Peugeot was probably a five speed if it was like the one in the video. Hopefully I can get the Vektor up together soon. Neil will be restoring the electrics and there may well be a twist. Keep your eye out for our future videos. 🙂👍
In the short time I had one my kids loved it. They didn't want me to donate it to the museum. A fair few some up on eBay so good luck. Take care and happy cycling!
My brother had a Street Wolf. I used to ride it but was really a bit too tall for it. I remember us being really excited when we discovered an extra sound which I suspect was just it glitching.
Ha, the extra noises I think happen if the switch to change sounds is perfectly between the two setting - however I could be wrong 😆. I so wished I could have had one when I was young, but having had this one sort of makes up for it. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your story, take care and happy cycling 🙂👍
I had this bike 🙌 I loved it so much
Lucky dude you. They were awesome 🙂👍
I loved my street wolf I was VERY attached to it me and my now departed cousin used to play "cops and baddies" with the sound box

I was lucky enough to have one of these as a kid ,
Vet lucky indeed. Take care. And thanks for commenting! 🙂👍
OMG I used to have a street wolf
You were one of the lucky ones! Thanks for commenting 🙂👍
How we drooled over this bike in catalogues back in the 80s. It was like a film prop or something from the distant 1990s.
I just remember not feeling as cool as the guy who had one! Jealous was an understatement! Thanks for dropping by and leaving the comment! 🙂👍

I had the Raleigh Wildcat. Looks really similar. Loved that bike
I think the wildcat was just a bigger version of the street wolf - they were very similar. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂👍
Same! Won it in a Wham Bar competition!
@@Lord5638 Wham Bars! That takes me back 👍
I remember having one of these, my 2 daughters really enjoyed this video

I had this aswell, used to love this bike. And used that siren noise all the time... Then got a Raleigh even more extreme which was my favourite
It was great to get this back up and running. Can't wait to get the next Raleigh sorted. Thanks for commenting! Take care and happy cycling 🙂👍

Loved it, I had the privilege of owning its younger bro, the wildcat.
Lucky dude! So sad I didn't, but this one was cool while I had it. My kids enjoyed it. Thanks for commenting, take care and happy cycling 🙂👍
Haha ye my cousin had that, we were the talk oh the town lol
My mate had one of these, I was so jealous... His button had also broken and his dad had bodged an old doorbell on to the handlebar!

My first ever bike. Still remember the noises when you pushed the button on the bars
