Sandra King - Butterflies Are Free

Not a household name but a fine singer nevertheless.
In 1967 Ronnie Scott booked the 17-year-old Sandra for a three-week engagement at his club, also on a bill was Horace Silver. She later appeared with Stan Getz and Kenny Burrell.

I have two of her songs in a jazz CD of mine. This is my favorite song. Yet, this song is so sad. Whenever I listen to this song, her expression touches my sentimental heart.
