One of the golden rules I have to remind myself is when driving is not to become complacent…it is a computer driving the vehicle it can fcuk up at any stage always be ready to respond@take control immediately well done Dave you’re a trooper
Dave, I just drive by the Ingles gas station in Landrum and there was three Cybertucks in the parking lot. ( Two were wrapped, one green the other sort of camo ) I saw none with an EVDave licence plate.
Wow! That opposite way traffic looked completely stopped through most of that detour. Looked like a pretty drive otherwise. Hope you’re having a great Christmas in Nashville!
Hello, v13.2 is not perfect but very, very impressive! Almost pull the trigger on CT, but financing rates and noise level pull me out of it, at least for now :) ordered base M3 in quicksilver + nova wheels and took delivery on 24th. I live in Inman, but work and drive every day to Landrum. Would love to meet you in person and chat about EV's during lunch or something, saw you last week (I think) at Mr. Juan's and almost pulled in just to meet you. Happy holidays and safe travels.
I think the FSD error was probably because the upcoming navigation u turn was so close to where car actually turned that it conflated the two and thought it needed to make a u turn. It wasn’t gonna hit other cars but make a u turn 🤔🤔
The reason I 40 was shutdown that day was due to a shooter in Livingston who was spotted on 40 going down the mountain to Rockwood they shut 40 down from 299 to Rockwood due to a stand off with the shooter
Traffic all over Tennessee is atrocious as all the folks from California, New York, Colorado, and New Jersey invade the pristine area. How much did it cost you to charge at Bucc-ees?
The people icing the Supercharger with a fossil F-150 probably doesnt know that the F-150 Lightning even exist, if you pull in a Supercharger for any reason, you have no clue what’s going on with EVs…
FSD violently turned into oncoming traffic (among other things) and you characterize that as "messing up a little bit"? Hank and Luna had the good sense to be terrified by the serious mistakes FSD makes and you in your heart of hearts know these crazy dangerous events happen all too often.
I suspect you watched the entire trip? this event was the only anomaly I had. This version of the software is called Supervised, which means the driver needs to supervise its operation, which I do. In North America we drive in the right and when making a left turn it crosses oncoming traffic. A Left or U turn does not drive into oncomming traffic. The cars coming out of the street can only turn right the same way a U turn would put me, it is not a factor. I over tuned by maybe 5 degrees before I corrected the maneuver, hardly an issue. The software continues to improve. If you have driven your ICE car recently you know that Human piloted cars are way worse drivers. Thanks for posting your comment
*the irony that a dumpster on wheels is hauling mainly trash 🤣*

FSD Flawless, almost! , Hank and Luna safe and sound asleep, it must be a comfortable ride for them!
I love FSD! It’s unbelievable that we are experiencing this futuristic technology now! Thank you for sharing your trip with us.
Well done young Man and young Lady, stay safe
