    Tarasov was a great teacher for Children, he did not berate them or cuss them like Canadacoaches do their kids. "SMILE...YOU ARE PLAYING HOCKEY." It was Tikkonov who was evil.

    "Goaltending is an expression of creativity and innovation, artistry with pads and a mask serving as the paint brush" - Martin Brodeur, student and then instructor at the ""Art and Goaltending School of Vladislav Tretiak. = Anatoli Tarasov. The Best goalie who ever lived meets the best goalie never to play in the NHL but he Dominated NHL players and still serves as the best and friendliest Ambassdor Russian ever to grace North America. BTW, Gretzky played like a Russian.

    CSKA greatest HC in 20 century!

  • @luckyea7
    @luckyea7 Рік тому +1

    The most successful team in NHL history is the Montreal Canadiens, with 24 Stanley Cups and 35 Finals appearances. The greatest number of times the winner of the USSR championship was CSKA Moscow - 32. Their meetings with each other:
    12/31/1976 Montreal Canadiens - CSKA - 3: 3
    12/31/1979 Montreal Canadiens - CSKA - 4: 2
    12/31/1985 Montreal Canadiens - CSKA - 1:6
    09/18/1990 CSKA - Montreal Canadiens - 3: 2
    CSKA won here!
    Also, CSKA is the record holder of the European Ice Hockey Cup, which won 20 titles, and from 1978 to 1990 did it 13 times in a row. Champions of European countries participated in the draws of this tournament.
    Therefore, CSKA can be called the strongest team of all time!

      No they do not win here, when the Red Army played NHL teams they were ALWAYS bolstered by star players from other Soviet teams. Montreal never had star players from other teams added to their roster when playing Russian teams .

    • @luckyea7
      @luckyea7 7 місяців тому

      @@basilcarroll9729 Not always. In the 1989/90 and 1990/91 super series, Soviet clubs played with their squads without reinforcements.
      09/18/1990 CSKA beat the Montreal Canadiens with a score of 3:2 without reinforcement by players from other clubs.
      Before this, CSKA was strengthened by only 2-3 players, this is not much, they could not seriously influence the result of the match, and not all of them were playing in the USSR national team at the time of the meeting and they cannot be called stars.
      Thus, even if we discard all the results of the meeting with the strengthening of CSKA, the Montreal Canadiens still won.

      I heard even in modern russia..they are pissed cause the main team takes all the good players . Kinda like if the dream team was literally on the same team.
      But the other big cities in Russia kinda wish they had a somewhat balanced League like the NHl.
      Besides $$ that is the other big reason many still play here
