By playing only one Armored card in the main deck, most of the time you cannot use Fortress as material since he requires that he has no Material attached if he is used as material for an XYZ summon.
We’ve got to stop calling anything with the Watapon effect a Poplar. It’s reductive as hell; Poplar was/is good for a myriad of reasons (still does something independently, has a benefit to being a trigger to summon since you could accrue more resources on the opponent’s turn, has 2 other effects, etc), and honestly the Watapon search trigger tends to actually be a clunky downside in most of the cases it’s implemented. It makes it so drawing the extension piece is a liability. Drake is fine, Agnimal and Malwisp (released in DUNE) are fine, Lilybell (released years ago) is fine. It’s not Powercreep, it’s just reintroducing a concept they’ve platformed many times before.

Why not play Impermanance instead of Veiler if your goal is to play more handtrap that do not play into Triple tactics talent ? Dominus impulse becomes even better if you have a trap in grave already. Also I know the XYZ armor cards are bricks but you absolutely need to play at least 2 of them so your Armor fortress can detach two materials to rank up into Batman. You can’t make Dark knight lancer on top or Armor if he has materials attach to him.
Oh I played veiler for one for one actually just as a extra monster but you can change it if you want! Oh thank you appreciate it! Ill prob add the spell!
I understand that they didn't want people to turn a Rank 3 or 4 into an additional materials for Zeus but I loath how they made Armored Fortress so dependant on bricks. I wish they made it so that if ya open either or both targets, ya can in addition to detaching the materials, reveal any number of them, shuffle into the deck then draw a card for each one, this way, it won't feels bad opening with 1 let alone all the targets in Sharks.
