First off, lets start with Naurutos clothing shall we? It is orange and blue, similar to who?? Then he has golden spikey hair....... he eats alot. Both Naruto and Goku are outcasts and are seen as low level runts, who then go on and prove everyone wrong. What about Sasuke and Vegetas personalities? Both appear to be the best of their class/race, however are constantly challenged by the one who is supposed to be weaker. Both cares about nothing, or at least act that way. Also Both Naruto and Goku tries to improve themselves and become the best at what they do. Both characthers are also very childish both also knows when to be serious. They are also both very smart figthers, who can come up with something new, or a new way to use an old tequinch in the middle of a fight.
If we strip away the story to the core it is bacically the same. A gy left alone, meets friends and teachers, gets stronger tries to save the world, and loves to improve themselves. Also the creator of Naruto said he was very inspired by Akira Toryiama and Dragon ball, just like every shonen anime made after it. Dragon ball is bacically what a shonen anime is supposed to be like and every shonen creator copies the core elements and maybe a little more, and then they set them into their personal ideas. And in most cases they make a better story an example is both one pice and fairy tale

To all those people out there who think that DBZ is much better than NARUTO. I must inform you that you are thinking wrong. First of all NARUTO is not a copy of DBZ in fact they are nothing alike comparing storyline and similar things to eachother. Second of all, the only reason why some of you don't agree to this is because you think DBZ is better than NARUTO just because the characters are stronger in DBZ than in NARUTO. Additionally I have watched both of the series till their very last/latest episode (still following naruto) and I have played all their games. Adding to that, NARUTO surpasses DBZ in many ways, e.g. Storylines, content, humor etc.
