Nice one, but sad that someone lost their life. Saltpond has a rich historical contribution to the history of Ghaana, notably, the formation of the UGCC party, the ideation of Ghana National college, in Cape Coast, etc.

Sad to hear that someone lost his life. My condolences to the family 🙏! My friend almost lost her husband at a lake in New Jersey some years ago. We were busy having fun when he got into trouble in the water, my friend was a good swimmer, so she was able to save her husband. I will never forget that day. Life is transient!

As a kid growing up in Saltpond 'Nankesedo' we were cautioned warned not to go into the beaches. Till date I still fear the sea. Its sad he could not be saved. May his soul rest well.

there are too many people who lost their life at this specific point at the saltpond coast. my first time i've been there locals warned me from that, even good swimmers can't handle the strong sea at some points at this coast. be careful there - the festival is a highlight every year, can't wait to come back next year ❤️🇨🇭🇬🇭
