I mean I dk how you can say itauma would beat aj? How much information do we have on him considering he just beat a 44 year old Wach? Least we can say Dubois could beat AJ because he’s been beating top level fighters?
He can take a shot and get back up hes done it like 6 or 7 times from big knockdowns, His problem is his powers of recovery he stays hit for too long, the punch the end of rd 1 knocks down literally anyone, some dont even get back up, but the ones that do get back up are maybe shakey for a round, AJ is shakey for the next 3 rds which lost him the fights against ruiz and dubois. he just dont seem to ever recover..... Where as Fury gets dropped thenthe next round you wouldnt even know he was just knocked over. I dont think AJ should retire off the back of that purely because it was the best Dubois we have ever seen, he quit off a jab to Usyk against Miller there was times when he looked like he didnt want it, and against Hrgovic he took like 40 right hands in 3 rds, This is why the majority went with Joshua because Dubois never really showed enough to convince people he could beat AJ yet he had the performance of his life followed but AJ having the worst performance of his life. I am not a AJ fanboy at all, I like the guy because i am British thats all, i know Dubois is british too but i personnally wanted AJ to win as i think he is more likable Dubois has no charisma. The way i see it is that was Dubois at his very best vs AJ at his very worst. A rematch will be different, may be the same result but i cant see a beat down again.
Love Duke ❤️ imagine he lived in a world of social media wen he was champion unbelievable career ! And colin Mcmillian duke came out of boxing with all his faculties unlike other champions i disagree with his opinion on AJ i think AJ is like Amir Khan never had a Chin unfortunately had everything else thats my opinion but sorry duke the interview is labelled wrong yes dubois was all wrong for AJ 💯 %
He never took the chance to get a breather every time the ref gave a count. Didn't tie up Dubois or try to spoil his work. This made it hard to recover as well as DDD not giving him space.
@@TheGreatDebater08 no point like for example compared to when fury got dropped by wilder like aj doesn't recover well, we saw it against ruiz too, ruiz recovered from the knockdown better than AJ
@@thetruesquad5059 Exactly. All of those things I mentioned AJ didn't do Tyson tends to do very well as well as lean on his opponent or get on his bike and use his footwork. He's not opposed to throwing in an elbow or forearm when needed too. My point is he does a lot of things that help him recover making it difficult to finish him off. With Ruiz, he's got a very good chin and when knocked down didn't appear too hurt. AJ started swinging wildly instead of picking him off/finishing him off from a distance allowing fast-handed Ruiz to get back in the fight.
AJ haa great punch resistance Dubois is 18 stone If he ònly puts half his weight into a punch Thats still 8 and a half stone on the chin AJ got dropped a few times and got back up
😂😂😂😂😂Stupid casual, if his punch resistance was so trash, then he wouldn’t have made it out of round 1, cos’ that shot he took would’ve knocked out a horse!! His punch resistance is average in my opinion!! Duke don’t know what his punch resistance is going to be like as he hasn’t fought his next fight yet!!🤨
Good to hear someone say AJ is not athletic. He moves poorly, and has slow reflexes, and lacks flexibility / mobility. An athlete moves fluidly and quickly. AJ is more statuesque.
You have to laugh as soon as someone looses it’s either “retire” “punch resistance has gone” or chinny 🤣 not that all the top 5 or 6 have been dropped multiple times each how is that chinny? Surely thy means they are all chinny then? People honestly…drips 🤣
This Duke just talks trash. How do you just write off a fighter just because of a loss? AJ's chin has always been the same, it just wasn't his night. His tactics was all wrong, a shadow of himself.
The thing is its not just 1 loss. Got schooled twice by Usyk, no shame in that obviously loss to Ruiz, then got bombed out against DDD. If he doesn't take the Dubois rematch then where does he go?
@@boxingchats00 it doesn't matter how many times he got schooled by whoever. Chisora has lost more than 5 times but he's not under as much scrutiny as AJ. Fury got embarrassed and destroyed by usyk, he's not under any scrutiny like AJ. Why the double standards?
@@albertbiachi3824 Matter of opinion, its his decision to carry on or not. I just think his aura and best days are well behind him. And personally I can't see him beating Fury, Usyk, Dubois, Bakole Zhang, guys of this calbre.
@@boxingchats00 just on the basis of the outcome of this loss? Before the dubois fight, the whole world said AJ would destroy Fury. In fact, he was rated no. 2, only behind Usyk. Now, after losing to dubois, he no longer can beat Fury. It's interesting how people's opinions quickly change.
@@albertbiachi3824 I personally wasn't saying that. My take was that it was only 3 or 4 fights ago everyone was saying AJ was tentative and gun shy, since then he had only fought low level opponents, and hadn't been in with no punchers. I didn't think he would beat Dubois, but I wasn't expecting him to perform so poorly, he looked super amateurish in there against DDD. So the only conclusion I can make is that he is no longer at the elite level. Thing about boxing is that your only as good as your last performance. I would love to see him turn it around, but I personally think that ship has already sailed.
Well you predicted the fight correctly and I’ve no reason to disagree with this viewpoint, however you have to remember that heavyweights hit massively, and Joshua lost all his form at the beginning under the constant attack from Dubois which led to him taking a knock out punch at the end of round one. Yes I believe he was knocked out then! I’m amazed he lasted five rounds. His heart should never be questioned
Heart? Nothing to do with getting up 3 times because that was ego.. He called DDD shit just before his breakdancing moment, ego not to be confused with heart..
@@TBO2488 A man has balls mate.. He showed me he is a bully, probably started boxing to help sell his drugs and be the godfather! When a bully fights someone with no fear, they get found out..
So are you saying Dubois isn’t a puncher? No credit given to Dubois at all! Also, 10 years ago Dubois aged 17 sparred with AJ who was 24 and an Olympic gold mentalist and young pro, and he did the same to AJ in sparring. Duke’s got it wrong here.
Fury's never pulling out of the Usyk rematch, he'd never live with himself and no one would let him forget it, especially not to fight DDD instead. Duke can get some predictions correct, but i think he's getting carried away with himself on this one😏🥊💥
Duke is that guy. I had a slight suspicion that Dubois would deal with AJ but admittedly was caught out by the overriding media bias and my want to see 3 time vs Fury overwhelm me. I cant see AJ winning the rematch either, not because he isn't a good fighter, but because Dubois' qualities in this moment far outweigh AJ's defiencies. AJ would have to start fast, which he has never done and would struggle with the pace if he couldn't get Dubois out of there and we've seen Dubois' solid chin. AJ needs a few rounds to find his rhythm and Dubois simply will not allow him to have that. The other key tool AJ would need to give him the best chance of victory by weathering the early storm is a good clinch game. AJs clinch is awful and because Dubois is also very strong, he will likely push and power through AJs clinch attempts and buzz AJ again.
Duke is probably the only guy I can remember, in the media , that 100% went with Daniel Dubois to win. And is 100% spot on here aswell.
Tipped Usyk win he gets a lot right
@@Leon-y2g yes he went with Dubois to win but that doesn't make him infallible as an analyst.

The man speaking is a 3-time world champ.. in 3 different weight classes
@@Felzy3.14 Yeah but those 3 weights were within 10lbs. He probably made £200 for a world title fight.
Agree with him saying he needs to get rid of the useless dosser pe teacher. He excels in taking world champions and getting them knocked spark out
Love Duke ❤️ imagine he lived in a world of social media wen he was champion unbelievable career !
😂 What 🥊 resistance?
He’s never had any.😏
Aj kept going down cuz his recovery was never good
He never took the chance to get a breather every time the ref gave a count.
What's god fearing got to do with anything? If Dubois was an atheist he'd still be a good boxer
You should know... tactics wtong he throw the kitchen sink early Josh just had to box clever cover up they had wrong tactics.... 😮
I want to disagree
But I cant.
I actually think the best version of AJ physically was in the second Usyk fight.
Far too harsh...
AJ haa great punch resistance
Dubois is 18 stone
If he ònly puts half his weight into a punch
Thats still 8 and a half stone on the chin
AJ got dropped a few times and got back up
His punch resistance has always been rubbish
Similar to Wladimir Klitschko.
They can recover just too long
😂😂😂😂😂Stupid casual, if his punch resistance was so trash, then he wouldn’t have made it out of round 1, cos’ that shot he took would’ve knocked out a horse!!
AJ is more statuesque.
who upset this guy??
You have to laugh as soon as someone looses it’s either “retire” “punch resistance has gone” or chinny 🤣 not that all the top 5 or 6 have been dropped multiple times each how is that chinny? Surely thy means they are all chinny then? People honestly…drips 🤣
Fury won’t pull out
I don’t want to see AJ v Fairy. That would be the biggest fraud in boxing.
Roll the dice 😂
Well you predicted the fight correctly and I’ve no reason to disagree with this viewpoint, however you have to remember that heavyweights hit massively, and Joshua lost all his form at the beginning under the constant attack from Dubois which led to him taking a knock out punch at the end of round one. Yes I believe he was knocked out then! I’m amazed he lasted five rounds. His heart should never be questioned
Heart? Nothing to do with getting up 3 times because that was ego..
He called DDD shit just before his breakdancing moment, ego not to be confused with heart..
@@TigerShark-n3pregardless of heart or ego. Showed he’s got balls mate
@@TBO2488 A man has balls mate.. He showed me he is a bully, probably started boxing to help sell his drugs and be the godfather! When a bully fights someone with no fear, they get found out..
@@TigerShark-n3pHave a day off mate
@@TigerShark-n3p wow the hate is real !
No one has a clue 😂
So are you saying Dubois isn’t a puncher? No credit given to Dubois at all! Also, 10 years ago Dubois aged 17 sparred with AJ who was 24 and an Olympic gold mentalist and young pro, and he did the same to AJ in sparring. Duke’s got it wrong here.
Fury's never pulling out of the Usyk rematch, he'd never live with himself and no one would let him forget it, especially not to fight DDD instead.
Duke can get some predictions correct, but i think he's getting carried away with himself on this one😏🥊💥
Aj chin always been bad. Soon as it gets touched man goes into limp mode. Since the amatuers and olympics. Be real people.
This guy is talking 💩 it was just a terrible night for Joshua!
