I use fusion for my main compositing work, I leaved adobe software premiere after effect once I found davinci resolve I wached the last serie of blender for production I hope we see a workflow production between fusion and blender. wish you all the best I enjoy waching learning from you.
wonderful work! Is the file browser seen when you open up the loader node unique to your Mac OS or is that a Fusion Studio thing? I'm on Windows using Resolve/Fusion page and I only get the Windows OS dialog box with no handy previews.
Fusion Studio 18, PC, Windows 10 When I try to load .MOV or anything not an Image seq, the file is unable to load. Any Suggestions? UPDATE!!! Installing the "FFMPEG" reactor fixed it.
You can buy it also on the blackmagicdesign webpage. They have an online store there. Be aware, that with DaVinci Resolve Studio you also can use Fusion Studio.
@@pixeltrain3d You mean if i buy a resolve studio license, i can use the same license for fusion studio is it? or you're mentioning page inside resolve?
The whole course will be for free on UA-cam, like most of my stuff. If you like it and find it valueable you can become a Patreon of me. It depends, how you define Hollywood movies and also which part of them. In VFX compositing of Feature Films, NUKE is the dominant compositing application, yes. Fusion is often used for stereo conversion in Feature film. But the point is, what you job or project is, right? NUKE is extremly expensive. Not only the first purchase but also the Maintaince fee you have to pay. So for a freelancer or someone not working in a big company using NUKEX legally is quite hard - and maybe not nessasary. Why? Because NUKE is great in the things it does (I own NUKEX and I used to train it a lot), but Fusion also in it's limitations. NUKE is a big part of pipelines and exchange of data between facilities. But if you want to comp and get great results, it's not depending on the software. And the workflows in Fusion and NUKE are really similar. I hope, that helps :-)
@@pixeltrain3d Yep the pricing of nuke is extremely high! does any studio use fusion as their primary vfx software in their pipeline. If fusion gets stable updates it does stay good in industry i presume!
Probably the best of all the Fusion Studio VS Resolve breakdowns imho. Thank you sir!
I'm going through this entire series, please do more series on compositing with Fusion. Great information as always, thank you!

Amazing! I can't wait to master fusion! Thank you!
This is some Brain Surgeon-level breakdown. Thank you very much 🙏
He, he, yes. But if you follow in depth tutorials you will learn a lot more than following only some clicks. You're welcome, thanks :-)

Great video
Fusion or nuke which is better for Archviz and vfx pipline
Cannot say, both compositing apps are really strong. But if you focus on Archviz and you are not a full time compositor, NUKE is too expensive, right?
is fusion studio/resolve available to purchase online or only through local reseller?

Yes, I use the same dongle for Fusion Studio and Resolve studio.
@@pixeltrain3d still is it with dongle only? not like passkey or online activation yet?
They have also an online activation. But I have bought it a long time ago and I was not sure how the online activation is handled. :-)
JUST AMAZING
Is this whole course going to be on youtube or on your patreon/website soon? Looking forward to just binge watch it :)

Is fusion being used in hollywood movies, isn't it mostly nuke?
