Our local Morrisons store has now what they call a "quiet hour" ,dimmed lights,no tanoy,no tills ringing/bleeping. This is an amazing step forward and allows my boy to be successful in a store . Heart is happy x
You know in a supermarket when the staff pull crates to shelf the stuff on them .well the staff go so fast and it's so noisy .very stressful

They do that here to where I live. 1 hr everyday. No overhead announcements, no cart collection, lights dimmed, and no music. It helps me SPD/ASD boy a lot.
So because of your channel along with some others I was able to hold a conversation with a lady I had the pleasure of meeting at Subway who’s son has Autism. I told her about how your platform is helping raise awareness and she was so excited! Thank you for helping raise awareness to those of us who had really no idea what autism really was. ❤️

We just adopted a mutt from the shelter. A week later he had to have over $4000.00 worth of emergency surgery. We could have returned him but we are already completely in love with him.

I had a similar problem with my cat. She was adopted and returned 7 times and we couldn’t figure out why until we took her to the vet and ended up having to pay several thousand dollars because she had so many health issues. My family was so in love with her though so we couldn’t take her back

So right before my son started communicating better, his 1st thing he did was sign "all done" it was about 6 months after that he said "a-dun" and it just expanded from there. As each communication comes, the more Abbie will be comfortable expressing herself. Such an exciting time for you all. AUTISM: the best way to enjoy the little things 💙

When I found out 5 years ago my grandson was autistic I was scared but watching you and your family have calmed me significantly! No stigma, no shame, just a beautiful boy who loves life and does his best at everything thrown at him daily. I'm diggin' Abbie and her brother, even the dogs. I learn a lot. I appreciate you.

My family adopted a dog that had previously suffered from distemper. She was able to get better and completely heal. She is now the happiest and healthiest pup ever.

So glad puppy is ok. Adopted a dog once that ended up with parvo just a few days after bringing her home. Our vets are awesome basically saved her life. After a week in hospital she came home with all 4 paws shaved because of IVs. So because of that and because she loved the Ivy patch in our yard, we named her IVY!
It sounded like Abby said “okay” at 3:38! Yay!

I got a German Shepherd puppy a few weeks ago. She came home and less than 12 hours later was extremely sick and had a seizure. She ended up with an infection. I feel you, it's really scary and stressful to have a sick pup.
I simply loved this video! Seeing Asa and Cilla ask Isa to watch Abbie only to have Abbie ask to go with them to get Sandy. Then relaxed Sandy in Asa's arms before seeing Maverick racing around playing and Sandy too. Abbie is getting better at communicating things it seems. Keep sharing, smiling and being who you are. Your an amazing family I treasure being able to follow along with.

I’ve been watching this channel for a few years, and I’m so impressed with myself for learning about autism! In fourth grade I sat every day at recess in the sandbox at school and played with the kids who had disabilities! I had a day where I was invited into their class, and made cookies with them, and learned about them! Last year one of the girls that was in that class, was in my art class and I sat with her every day! She is a non-verbal autistic, who is also in a wheelchair, she also has epilepsy! I moved away this year so I don’t get to see her, but it was so fun getting to know her through her tablet, and art.

We lost a puppy we adopted to distemper about 10 years ago. It was absolutely heartbreaking and an incredibly difficult month while we tried to help her fight it. I’m so glad Sandy doesn’t have it and she’s going to be ok!

So nice today in Naperville, IL
I live in Mississippi and 60-65° is PERFECT in my opinion, especially with a light breeze and sunshine. Not chilly but also not hot. Right now it's about 45° here and super rainy so I've been wearing a light jacket. I couldn't imagine thinking 60° was COLD! I also can't stand the 90-115° summers we get here though, I don't enjoy hot weather. Heat just makes me feel lethargic and sweaty and gross. 🤢

I personally don't know anyone with autism but I've been watching your guys videos for a few months and I can honestly say that Abbie and your family have shown me that there's a whole other world out there that I never even knew existed. Abbie inspires me and because of her I have learned so much about others who have autism and deal with it on a day to day basis. I'm so proud of her, all the things she's accomplished and all the people she inspires like myself everyday. This is a incredible family! I have a undiagnosed special needs daughter..age 50. I look at how you are with Abbey and how you handle your daily life and am amazed. I have a question...I know Abbey is non verbal, but does she understand conversations?

Baby wash helps with styes. Wash a couple of times a day and add Neosporin to the area and it will help clear it up fairly quick. That is if Abbie will keep the ointment on her eye.
