I see the production as more functional and grounded. Curious to see how foreign influenced historical sites would have been used in this world they built. The ceremonial costumes seem handcrafted and the ootds are more western style. The tattoos are a nice touch. The family story can be your usual teleserye as the drama does focus on succession and legacy. I hope the main story includes foreign influences ready to pounce on the vulnerability of the royal family and eagerness of other families to take over. But they said that this isnt a political thriller but a family drama. Basically an old man who has done everything to secure the royal family's future but at the same time wants to hand over the responsibility to the least interested successor.

7:05 The presence of those vehicles and farming equipment means there was still an Imperial Japan that got defeated and pacified by the Allies. Modern companies of Kawasaki, Honda, and Yamaha are all products of the American Occupation of Japan. Recapturing the Philippine Commonwealth from Japan was essential to ultimately defeating the Empire, as the Imperials exhausted much resources defending their captured territories all over SEA. Without the need to recapture U.S. territories in the Western Pacific in this alternate world, it is conceivable that America would have sued for peace with Japan.
