Great product. Wonder if that product could be used to cover scratch marks in wood trim (fine thin lines caused by excessive sanding prior to painting)?
Hi Justin, great video! I have some embossed and anaglypta wallpaper in the house I have just purchased and it needs to go ASAP! Do you think this will work just as well with textured wallpaper?
Any acrylic matt paint will go straight over any wallpaper. Unless it has a gold fleck in the paper. In which case it will need sealed with something like undercoat or zinsser. If u don’t seal it, it will bleed through green. But as long as ur painting over with an acrylic matt and not a vinyl emulsion u can just paint straight over. Obviously if the paper u r painting over is dark then it would be wise to seal it with something first. I have been to so many jobs where the customer has been told u can’t paint over that vinyl wallpaper. Try the acrylic matt. As long as the paper is tight and we’ll hung no need for all these special primers etc.
Hi Justin! I'm based in the UK and I bought a used glass console table in brilliant condition. The stand of the table is metal and has a very smooth and shiny gloss finish (in a grey colour) - with only 1 or 2 small scratches. I want to spray paint the stand a gold colour. I was ONLY going to lightly sand the scratches, wipe it down with "methylated spirit" and then use the "Zinser 123 Bullseye Primer- Sealer", then spray paint it gold using the"Rust-Oleum" brand. Do you think this would work? Alternatively, if this is wishful thinking, can I use a cheap liquid sander (HG liquid sander), then the 'Zinser Bullseye" and finally the gold spray paint? Your advice would be most helpful. Thanks in advance!
Just painted over a very heavily patterned beige coloured wallpaper. It covers the colour perfectly, but obviously doesn’t get rid of the pattern. Looks great though 👍🏻😊
Mate, you just saved me hell of time and effort taking off old wallpaper. Thanks a lot. 👍🙏🙏🙏
Thanks> Was not sure about painting over a pattered wall paper but am going to give this a go.

Great job
Thank you
So helpful thank you. What do you do about it if it does bubble?
Can I please ask why you used such a small roller to do the first part? Thanks
I love your videos very informative very funny a joy to watch thwnkyou xx👌😁
Thank you, I'm glad 😃
any tips for ebossed wall paper? does this stuff work on wallpaper backing if you strip the top layer of paper off to save steaming etc
If you put Zinsser Gardz then the cover up, it stops any blistering. 👍
How did you manage the wallpaper seams?
The seams were quite good. But if they are visible, a bit of plaster skim or fine filler in there will do the job.

Yes
Can you see the joins of the paper? We have paper that has lifted in places would this seal those down?
I would use pva to stick back down the paper, fill the gaps, then paint over. I wouldn't use this to re stick the paper.
Can we paint other paint on this product
Absolutely, it basically primes the paper for painting
Hey jb, nice video but I wish you would extend you roller pole, im getting a sore back just watching 🤣
Thanks man, I hear you! I will do my best 👍
Good video very informative, but don't you think a cheap oil undercoat would of done the same thing.?

What the name of your big roller you flew through that
That particular one is a 12inch t-class frame, with a Hamilton perfection medium pile roller
what paint did you use on the second coat?
Pretty sure it was Johnstones acrylic matt
Where can you buy Zinsser Wallpaper Cover Up?
Skip to 3:30 thank me later
This wall paper is very beautiful though ..
I stopped watching after you said you will not be stripping😢
