The Adams Trap - a chess miniature

- An unsuspecting little trap named after England's #1 chess player, Michael Adams. My opponent, fellow Chess UA-camr Schleichnaldo got me with a trap of his own. A nice decoying, Queen saccing mating trap.
This was played online at ChessCube. If you're not already on ChessCube, just click this bit.ly/playchessnow and play chess online for free!
@schleichnaldo Yup. You certainly schooled me with that forking decoy, causing my Knight to occupy my King's only escape square.
@AlanWattParrot yes he is. you've got a quality chess playlist. thanks for including this one amongst those fine games you've got on there
Nice game, thanks.
It surely is a nice and instructive game!
@1985ManuelB Ummm no. Black was setting up his trap at least 2 moves before, and no it wasn't forced, that's why it's a trap - the opponent has to fall for it. If it were forced, it wouldn't be a trap, it would just be a combination. And yeah this is the kind of vid that should be shown since it's instructive and entertaining. And why are you telling me that I should be posting GM games when 99% of the games I post are GM games?
@AlanWattParrot
Thank you very much AlanWattParrot I am flatterd
If white moves the rook next to the king, white would still lose because of the two rooks that black still has.
@RoyalDevil3 pretty much
@ChessNoir basically u got owned!!!
Plzzzz that was so obvious...if u fell for that stop playin chess
@rohit07017169 stop playing chess due to falling for a trap? dude.. how lame can you get?
