That's so kind of you to say. 😍 We loved our time in the Philippines for many reasons but mostly for it's beautiful people who always made us laugh and smile. Thank YOU all so very much. ❤️🇵🇭

One of the great dichotomies in the Philippines is that the written language, no matter where you go, is English. But the spoken language is Tagalog or a provincial tongue. Almost every Filipino I know is tri-lingual. Amazing place.
Thank you so much for sharing this astute observation and your personal experience. We're already talking about returning to the Philippines as there are so many more amazing places on our wishlist 🇵🇭♥️ Which are some of your favourite places?
Thank you so much for saying this, Carolina 🙏. We try hard to give as much information as possible to help others but keeping it light and fun too. We appreciate your feedback. ❤️🙏
Hi Julie. Yes it is so true. The people here are so friendly and helpful and always seem to be smiling. My kind of place! We're really loving the tropical vibe here too. 😍
Nice. That's how to explore the Philippines, filipino (pinoy) style. Saves a lot of money while enjoying the nature. Have blessed day ahead guys and enjoy.

@@FrugalTravellers I was in Palawan Jan/Feb 2000 and it remains my favourite destination to date. However, in many subsequent trips to The Philippines I've not returned, which is almost criminal. I've actually counted the accommodation available on Palawan at that time and it adds up to around a mere 55-60 places on the entire island back then! I'll assume that you can place a zero after those figures today. My absolutely perfect accommodation ranged from P350-500 per night in Puerto Princessa and had a/c refrigerator, electric showers and a bottle of San Miguel Pilsner was a paltry 18p! I now tend to visit Mindoro, as a good friend retired there 4 years ago. He's very close to Puerto Galera and about 8 km from Sabang and living the life of Reilly.😆
So far so good...everything cheap especially the accommodation for 436 pesos. Hard to find cheap places like that in the 🇵🇭! I do hope you get more views. Can’t wait to see the next one!
Thank you so much 🙏. There are some great bargains to be found in the Philippines. What a wonderful country 😍. We'll highlight more of these in the next videos. 🙏🙂
Great video guys. Looks like Palawan has stepped up a bit since I was there. We only had jeepnies no actual buses. And I've never heard of Port Barton. Will be interested to see what the beach is like. I stayed at El Nido where the beaches were not nice, locals told us not to swim because the sewage was direct into the water. But we did fantastic and cheap day trips to the little islands which was magic.
I bet it has changed a fair bit since you were there. Port Barton may be at the stage El Nido was at when you were there. Still dirt roads and a small fishing village vibe. I loved it. Yes, it's the small bays and islands around El Nido that make it so special. ❤️😊

We assessed the various platforms, and have decided to use Insta Reels & Posts to promote our latest UA-cam videos, and will put up real time posts on our Frugal Travellers FB page 😁🤗. Hello 👋 Lee and Mandy enjoy your travels around the beautiful Philippines 🇵🇭. Travelling by jeepney is a great 👍 way to get around locally. Enjoy and have fun 😊best wishes Simon and Beth watching from England ❤👋😍
Nice 👍🏼. Keep safe and I am always watching your video. I went back watching your travel in Portugal. Fatima and Braga and Lisbon my tour was cancelled during Covid. 😊
We were planning to go but had so much trouble trying to get a train to Kolkata in India to cross the border our plans had to change. 😌 We really hope to visit at some stage though. 🙏
Actually if you travel like Filipinos, you could save a lot of money and stop running after the time because everything you do in the Philippines needs so much patience and of time 😊😅😅.
Dapat ang local government ayusin man lang ang mga estasyon ng bus at pagandahiyan.....level up! Napaka simpleng proyekto hindi mabigyan pansin.....talagang napakaraming incompetent na opisyal sa ating gobyerno.
