Great reaction as always, guys! Rhaenyra started playing the Game in this episode. Daemon's ride with her had 2 reasons: First, he wanted her to see the part of King's Landing that she never would have seen otherwise, to see her future subjects and what they think about her becoming Queen and 2nd: Daemon wanted to use her initially to piss off his brother, however he realized that he really is attracted to her and that doing it this way, was not the right thing for Rhaenyra. He did not realize that he started something that Rhaenyra wanted to finish, which she did with the next likable person to her. When he asked Viserys for her hand, he meant it. He really wants to marry her, but not because he wants to be king, but because he likes her genuinely and he realizes he will be near the throne anyway by marrying her. The White Worm was Myssaria - that child was her little spy. So, basically she informed Otto about Daemon and Rhaenyra in the brothel and her motivations could be many. Laenor rode his own dragon, Seasmoke, not Daemon's. No one can ride another person's dragon while that person is still alive - the dragon will not have that. What Rhaenyra did in this episode though with Daemon and especially with Criston Cole will not be without repercussion, as you will see in the future. Viserys and Daemon's dad was Baelon, the second son of Jaeherys and yes, Jaeherys named him Hand of the Kind to groom him for being the future king. He died suddenly due to appendicitis very shortly after that and then Jaeherys named Otto Hightower as Hand, which is what Viserys reminds him. Viserys kind of has an epiphany regarding Otto, when he realizes Alicent was a calculated distraction and that every move Otto made since Aemma died, was to instill his own house into the royal line of succession while at the same time, trying to remove Daemon and now Rhaenyra from being heir. That backfired here, as Viserys is not a fool.
The guy who gave the good advice was Lord Lyonal Strong of Harrenhall. His own sons were introduced last week, Harwin 'Breakbones' and Larys 'the Clubfoot'.
They're not really subtle with their naming, .....that family, are they? "Strong" "Breakbones" "Clubfoot" What's the sister called? "PunchBalls"? "KneeDick"? "GougeEyes"? I'm kinda surprised that the dude himself seems like the most even-keeled, rational, reasonable and thoughtful member of the small council.
Laenor (the guy with the dreads and Corlys' son) wasn't riding Daemon's dragon. That was HIS dragon. It's called Sea smoke. He's a Targaryan (or rather, .....of Targaryan blood through his mother Rhaenys, the Queen who never was), which means it was his birthright to have a dragon egg placed in his crib when he was born and is therefore a dragon-rider. I believe his sister - the 12 year old girl that was proposed to be married to Viserys - also has her own dragon. That's the reason why they're proposing Rhaenarya marry him (Laenor), so that they can combine and unite all the dragons of Westeros under one family.
You guys have s great channel. The first upload of the playlist was a little shaky lol but by the third episode (with the cousins back) it's SO FUN to watch the reactions & your analysis too. Thanks 👍
Omg, love your reactions. I think Anna has inherited the smarts of her dad. Quiet, but taking it all in, with an occasional point, that is sublime. Also, you all dont talk over the dialoge, like most reactors do. My top 3, for sure. Hurrah!
The major thing with drinking the tea, is that if she does drink it, she is basically admitting to sleeping with Daemon (even if it was with Cole they don’t know that) So she is running a risk either way. Drink it and admit to sleeping with her uncle or don’t drink it and run the risk of getting pregnant (something that is not hard for Targaryen’s they are known to be quite fertile, it’s the carrying and delivering that they have an issues with) And yes if it was found out that Cole slept with the princess he would be executed and it’s even possible for his family to receive punishment as well. It’s basically classified as treason: 1 breaking his oath of celibacy and 2: defiling the royal bloodline. I will say that watching this TV show with your family is going to be hilarious though. Prepare for awkwardness because uncle and niece isn’t the worst incest relationship in this show. 🤣 Oh and yes the king and his death wife were cousins. She was part Targaryen through her mother if I’m remembering correctly. Reason for a different last name
Nice to see everyone back to form. Anna, as per usual, paying attention and asking the important questions. I'd worry for Renee's grasp on the gravity of the situations shown, with all the giddy shipping, but I know it's all in jest. Lol Zac my man, you're keeping up with everyone else just fine, no matter what anyone says. ;) As usual I most strongly concur with Mark's appraisals and opinions. Must be an age thing. 😂 All in all another great reaction vid, guys! See y'all next time. 🙂👍
I mean thank you for you condolences but I understand the gist of it. The second you want something they kill the character. I won’t admit that on camera but I understand what will be happening .
Woah, interesting thought regarding who sent the tea. I assumed it was Viserys that didn’t believe her. But it’s def possible that Otto sent it before he was fired, since he believed his information to be true
Watching this episode with your family. Ballsy move but I respect it.

Harmin was the knight that stopped her in the ally in kings landing

the white worn i belive is Mysaria, the little when back to her to give her the money he got paid.

It is TYLAND* Lannister. It's written TyWIND on the board. Small correction
the maester work for otto, the drink we dont know who it comes from. but yes the drink can kill you or the baby is a risk you take drinking.

@@drinkofthrones5239 Otto have every reason in the world to want the child to be born if she's pregnant. It would guarantee Aegon getting the throne.
@@Aewon84 True! Valid point 👏🏼. That’s the cool thing about these shows. Different people catch different things & potential intentions
