Do you plan to farm dreadking rathalos?! If you're looking for people to chat, game or just to make friends you're welcome in our discord!! - discord.gg/M7SsDMVMhv
No point farming Dreadking for genes unless you want a burn/blast build. If you're going for straight up the best damage (and crits) you're better off waiting for Silver/Gold. Also shout out to the new Elder Dragon den for being a much easier way of getting Oroshi Kirin especially rainbow egg versions of it.
My rng luck was God teir when I played the game on this update. Apparently I saved and left while a super rare high rank den was around so I went in and the first one was dreadking
Me & a buddy of mine got our Dreadking Rathalos egg yesterday, did the Elder Dragons Dens. Definitely a good way to gain quick experience, thx you guys for your video.
I got a teostra egg, velkhana egg, a nergigante egg and a kirin egg. I also saw a kushala daora on a nest so I'd imagine you can get kushala daora eggs as well. Also so much inflict ailme.t cl and panacea xl too on em.
My first run through for co-op dreadking quest got me a good-smelling dreadking egg. No charm boost to chances either. Wish it was easier to tell the diff between nergigante and kushala daora eggs tho.
Almost all the time I went to the elder den the freaking boss was oroshi-hp eater-kirin; but in the end I completed mhs2 by finding 4 velkhana (2 teostra a kushala daora & ironically an oroshi kirin) elder dragon eggs in the elder dragon lair.
It took me almost two days to finally pull a Rainbow Dreadking egg. I like to think that I just used up all of my RNG on finishing the Book of Genes and getting a Critical (XL) / Soul Kinship (XL) talisman a day before the title update dropped.
I was searching for a rare den on hakolo as I was watching this in order to find dreadking ratha, but ended up finding a super rare high rank den on my second refresh...
Something I find very funny, with next patch and the Deviant/rare species den, we will have access to all monsters pretty easily... the only very rare monstie that isn't an elder nor a deviant NOR a rare species... is Rajang. So in the end, Rajang will be the rarest monstie in the game and the more difficult to farm. Also, I beat stories 2 with the legendary elder dragon GreatJaggi, best raptor.
So, question. Does anyone know how you 'Unlock' the 9Star Elder Dragon egg quest? I've beaten Fatalis, and I've got Nibby, my Molten Tigrex, so i KNOW it's the right update, but the 9Star Elder Dragon egg quest isn't showing for me, is there something I need to do? Thank you for your time. :)
Elder dragon den feels like they are giving us easy farming mode. Although you have to be awake during the fights, as the nest monsters can give you a challenge. Feeling sad tho, the roadmap is coming to an end
That’s kind of the problem for me. I’d like to keep playing but if there won’t be much more to the game then I’m less inclined to farm. I’m not really into PvP so sadly the game’s lifespan for me may be nearing its end as well.
Don’t know if anyone else know about this but when I was looking for a oroshi Kirin egg I find a elderfrost gammoth egg I find it in a rare den that was near the woodland caravan stand
Now when you say power. Why do you even bother with whether they are power/tech/speed? I've been wondering why people say this stuff so.. I'm not trying to be a dick, and I'm not telling you that you're wrong. I'm just wondering why you'd have a "main power monstie" as opposed to just a main from every element? Unless you didn't mean main power monstie like, "main power/speed/tech monstie." But like, as your main monstie that slaps harder than a mom who's son just called her the B word out of pocket. But that'd be an odd statement to make in this game when there are literally power type monsties.. Anyway, I've just noticed that my power/speed/tech monsties, it doesn't matter... None of them gravitate toward a single type of move, nor do they gravitate toward the type of move that it labels them as. Like my Nergi doesn't just want to use power moves all the time... I'm talking with regular attacks or with skills. I always have at least one of each type of skill on every monstie because, well it really doesn't make sense to me not to... to be honest. If you asked me, it seems like they fail the head to heads every once in a while.. but after that they correct it and use the right moves to win against that monster you're fighting. If left to their own devices that is, of course.
@@danielnelson4881 Because I already have a Speed and Technical Monstie, so if my Monstie is not using a power attack (for example) and i do not have a power skill on it, then i can easily switch it for the dreadking and win the hth

Why not just watch him play? At this point, you playing is just him playing, except arguably worse because he understands the reasons he made each choice in his build... And the play style he knew he'd be utilizing when he made it. You just "yoinked" it and waited for the video that told you exactly what moves you should use for every scenario.. and when that video didn't come you just started spamming random moves. I think having these guys' builds to look at and take inspiration from isn't a bad thing and can be very beneficial. Heck, even copying one straight up sometimes isn't a bad thing... Why not. But man, it sounds to me at least, like you "yoinking" his builds is a common occurrence, and you don't ever think for yourself... You wouldn't like your first Dreadking build to be one of your own creation? Have a little fun. Live a little. Put stupid ass genes that make no sense on your Dreadking Rathalos.
