    I'm older than you and I still run in nature and climb trees. It makes me feel good.

    I certainly felt nurtured this past weekend and I learned so much from you very quickly. What a gift. I think your method is spot on. The way you and your family treated me meant so much to me and I want to be that way for other people. Thank you.
    Btw, I am about to go to sleep and I see the shapes of the plants when I close my eyes. It's happening again.

      Dear Friend, it's difficult to express the gifts you left us with -- this weekend was special for all of us, and we especially enjoyed our adventure yesterday =) We can't wait to see you again!
      Love,
      KaRaMaL =)

    Very true! The part about electronics versus outdoors in children maybe has something to do with a mental dynamic I notice in threatened or fearful states versus feelings of being nurtured: when fearful we tend to contract perceptually and shut down physically, and also I feel colder and less able to regulate body temperature. So the result is being cold, lethargic, and unperceptive in the body. In that case the screen seems like a much more obvious, and an escape. But feeling nurtured brings about the opposite, a feeling of aliveness, perceptual openness, and warmth that makes it easier to get into physical activity and into nature.

      Yes! I've noticed the same thing with body temp. Although fear can sometimes stimulate adrenaline and make me momentarily feel warmer, it seems to take a lot of energy and leaves me colder soon after. Relaxation allows more body temp control right from the beginning, and also conserves energy. An aspect I didn't think of mentioning in this video! =)

    It would be neat to come up there and learn some outdoor skills. I have a lot of nerdy tendencies, and've spent more time than not indoors. Having only been camping a couple of times, I really haven't done the "whole thing", and even then, say starting a fire, it was with a BBQ lighter (ie. the easy cheating way hehe). You don't want to involve me in a hug, I'll capture you in the wings from which there is no escape MWAHAHAHAAH!!!
    I pray well for the classes as they start up, that they be strength and encouragement for all who come and for you and Rebecca too as they share their life experiences with y'all.

      @@ReWildUniversityI would at least give it consideration if life events were apt for it and the money situation was agreeable at the time. Unless I hear the words "icy lake", then I might balk a bit LOL

      How about just a very, very cold lake? Lol! No, we'd create something custom just right for a warmth-loving dragon =)

      @@ReWildUniversity I'd hope so LOL. If I see icebergs in a lake, I'm going to get REAL skeptical

      Would love that! And yes with the screech owls. Owls in general, in fact, always seem to fill the night with such magic =)
