Not sure why there are 2 launchers, but I've always used the GameLauncher. You can turn off windowed mode in the settings of the game. Go into options, video, and it should be the 3rd option from the top.

Hey just to tell you something that u missed out, but for people who download the launcher for the first time, will have to configure some stuff to match thier pc screen and also servers or else you will get an error saying "server cannot fulfill your request"
Actually I didn't have to do that when installing it for the first time, but hopefully people look in the comments to see your comment to know how to fix it
Did you create an account? I think that's the only way it'll work, unless you did and it's saying that? Sounds like a firewall issue if that's the case. Another guy in the comments, I believe, had the same issue, he didn't say how he fixed it, but you can try asking him
Sorry for the late response, this seems to be happening to more and more, the only thing I could think of was to attempt running the launcher as administrator. I've told others this and I haven't heard from them since. I'm 2 months late, but I hope it helps.
I meant to reply to this months ago, I have no idea what this error code is, I've done extensive research and go nothing. Only thing that came up was a BIOs problem or possibly something to do with the graphics card driver, otherwise, I couldn't help you with this and I'm so sorry

Videos not too old, but to answer your question, yes you can, you just have to use a program that'll allow exe programs to run on Mac, kind of like a emulator.
There is no way to save the progression yourself, it saves automatically, goes in the cloud got the servers if I had to guess. I've switched computers twice and all my stuff is still there, so, that's good
Old account, as in the original game account or did you already have an account with SBRW? If that, change the server if your login info isn't working on the server selected. All servers are basically their own game

whenever I couldn't log back in, I would check each server to see if that log in information worked, as for the creating account, I honestly don't know what's going on there, I'm sorry man, wish I could help more
I get lil frame stutters and screen tearing. I KNOW my pc is more than enough to handle this game. My cpu is a ryzen 9 5900x and my gpu is a rx 6700xt with 32gigs of ram
the screen tearing should be fixed just by turning on your v sync. If it's already on, then I have no idea, the frame shutters just kind of happens all the time with this game, at least for me it does

There's an article that says it could be one of 2 things to fix it. First, it could potentially be your Internet connection, second, you could have to reinstall the game removing the option to validate the files. Parallels says something about server-side issues with accepting request (perhaps some HWID ban on the server-side) and Crossover can't log in with message "You are using the wrong launcher" (perhaps because it can't detect the correct OS version) If someone managed to run this on Mac M1 - let me know

No, it definitely doesn't, it looks mostly the same as it did when it was released back in 2010, in 2011 I played it on a PC that only had 4 GB of RAM and a i3 processor

Just plug in a compatible controller to your computer. While a controller somewhat works on it, it's very limited. You can use the controller to drive around, use powerups, and change the camera angle, but you can't use it to go to your garage, open map, open social, open profile, achievements and such. It's only partial compatible

Easy mistake I made was having the wrong server selected, have you tried signing in with the same info on a different servers?

Did a little research for this and found that there isn't a fix for this yet? I'm not sure? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game?
