Love the Christmas in July sale. Skipping this year because I can't be trusted. Last year, I bought 96 individual pans + a ton of other things, and I'm still working my way through those. 😅 Loved your recommendations.
I usually wait for this sale, but nothing is calling to me this year! The palettes don’t look interesting to me. I did go through and see how many singles I may want, and I still haven’t been excited! But you’re definitely making me think about some of the glosses!
I bought the Sydney grace mystery bags a couple years ago and I tend to neglect my single shadows 🫠 this video is inspiring me to pull out my singles palette. I have been loving your content 😊 that gloss sounds like something I would love. I have Maybelline lifter and Pat McGrath lip glosses that I don’t use enough.
I associate Sydney Grace with you as you were my first exposure to them, I think. [Edit: no, that's not the only reason. It's also because you showcase far fewer brands than other channels and SG looms large in your content. See my other comment in this thread). At first I wasn't a fan of either their mattes or shimmers, for different reasons. Also, the fact that they are so neutrals- and muted shades-heavy dampens my enthusiasm as a Bright Winter who craves vividness and high contrast. I didn't use my SG singles for a couple of years. However, I gave them another try for the Temptalia collaborations (all three palettes) because those were far more jeweltoned and cooltoned than usual SG and oh my gosh...I know/have read that Temptalia worked on a different formula for those palettes so it's not usual SG fare, but it turned me right back onto the brand and I've loved all the other orders I've placed since that one. I will definitely be indulging in the sale, and give you credit for consistently plugging SG's virtues. Evidently I, the apprentice, needed some time to catch up to the wisdom of Maggie, the [Makeup] Master.
Say, you don't seem to have an affiliate or other code with Sydney Grace, despite being among their biggest pushers! It's nice they give free palettes/PR to other, larger channels but most of those creators rotate hundreds of other brands and don't give SG attention outside of the occasional review of PR for a new release. You live the SG life month after month, year in and year out. Feel free to show them this and other comments on your SG videos to force them to recognize you as go-to SG influencer.
@@fourducksoriginal Your comments are so sweet, thank you. I'd love any SG PR, but I also want people to trust my reviews too. It's a tough line to walk. But if SG ever asked me to do a palette collab I would die
Great video! I will be shopping the sale and am giving myself permission to go ape! Your swatches are very helpful.

Glad you're loving the content!
Jokes on you, Maggie! I have been sitting in my floor and eating pizza this year 😂
🤣I feel so seen
It looks like there are three new palettes, have they released any sneak peaks yet?
Yup and they look fantastic!
I will definitely get Red Chameleon, and probably Troops and The Greatest Gift. Although that June bundle is beautiful...
Right?! But you'll love the shades, Red Chameleon is exquisite
I dont see the red chameleon on the site. Do you? Help
@@pshank30 It's at their site, slash, "red-chameleon". It's a single shadow, not a full palette, if that helps!
👍🏼
