I love the fact that Uwe Boll spent so much time and effort trying to ruin this movie because he genuinely hates video games, but end up making one of the most accurate movie adaptations for a video game ever because he went so over the top. Which is exactly what Postal, the video game, is.
Uwe Boll doesn't hate video games, he just doesn't give a shit about them. He said in a German interview, that he only made these video games movies, because back then, the licences were cheap & the IP's had brand recognition.

This movie is up there with Iron Sky and Punisher Warzone as "precisely rated movies". Not underrated, not overrated, just getting the precise level of appreciation they deserve. Solid 6/10, and no one would expect anything else.
Best part is being able to watch this movie without context and understand what Postal is generally about. This would still be a funny movie if we lived in a universe where there were no Postal games and just this movie it would still be funny as fuck. I love the games but this is such a great adaptation, down to the execution of the cat silencer joke.

I probably laughed a little too much at the kids being.. well, y'know. irl those squibs are actually pretty painful, so its kind of hilarious they managed to put those on kids and film this. To be fair this might be the only Uwe Boll movie that may be somewhat accurate to the game for once.
