I just ordered one the other day for my travel medic box. I like how you set up the lid a lot I’m gonna mimic it quite a bit.

took a trip to NC to see a friend and packed my box using some of your ideas. found same box can pack my PC, helmet, NODs, 14.5" w/razor & C1+ (thank U LAW) Rangefinder bino's, NOX18 thermal & medical. it was a good trip & I hope to be a student of yours soon as I am able. don't forget AAA when you are on the road with time to kill.

Question though on this. You said the Velcro backer is screwed into the lid, did you go through the plastic?

where did you get the Velcro panel insert?
Just busting balls here, but I laughed when you pointed out you remove the Pelican stickers to “obscure it” and then immediately point to your gun related business card stuck to the side of it haha

Hey man, what velcro panel is that? Or how did you make it? Does it stick to the lid pretty well or does it sag in the middle?
I've been searching for the panel as well. I used some high quality velcro tape in the lid of mine which held up well until the summer heat got here...
I used a piece of plexi glass and then screwed it to the lid and then added adhesive Velcro. It’s held up so far. Hoping it keeps on working.

I think that is the 1615, I’m also looking at getting the same box…..seems to be perfect for everything you’d possibly need but not overly huge

@@johnporter9752no biggie man. I've used a few of the Premade Pelican panels but they are useful for heavy stuff the bow and rip off.

Definitely overweight with everything in it. I get 70lb bags for free since I fly so much

It weights a lot. I have status with airlines for so much flying so I get 70lb bags for free.

It was under 70lbs. I get free 70lb bags since I fly often
Why do you hide the mags from the airline?
Because I leave them loaded and the airline doesn't like loaded mags (even though it's a safe way to protect the ammo) even when TSA approves it.

Airline isn't allowed to look man, TSA can. Both need my keys. TSA doesn't care if ammo is in mags. Or ammo is in factory boxes.
Just throw a bunch of rainbow 🌈 stickers on it. Nobody give it a second glance 😂
