I work at a comic/card shop and the amount of kids that come in with fakes is ridiculous. They almost never know they have fakes and they get super upset. I always feel bad. There was one instance where a kid came in with a binder full of 100% fake cards and he started tearing up the cards he was so mad. I always feel super bad when it happens.

As a kid going to school most everyone had real cards in their binders, but there was always that one kid that got upset because we did not trade for his fake cards :( It is a sad situation.
Those booster boxes looked pretty legit. Pokéballs on wrapper, packaging is snug/tight and when you applied pressure to the box it seems firm (usually the fakes are loose)
They looked great on video which is why we all need to be careful when buying retired booster boxes online and know what to look for and feel for when buying in person.
Plot Twist, those were REAL Booster Boxes, I triple checked the video against real boxes and they look legit 100%.

Idk why but every time a $0 came up on a card it made me laugh. Great video. When I first got back into Pokémon about a year ago I bought some cards to keep my son entertained on a 10 hour flight from Frankfurt to Seattle and they were very fake. Bummed me out, so I’m glad to see videos like this showing what to look for.
I pulled a shining Charizard from neo destiny out of one of those vending machine things when I was a kid, even surprised the shop owner cause he said that a whole different vendor stocked it. Still got it to this day it’s my most prized card lol. Love the vids man keep it up!

The cards I get in a sense, but nobody was fooled by the plushies. And 11.99 isn't bad, they charge like 15 to 20 for ones that big. Its gonna be a little off so you can legally sell it.
Back in the days, more than 10 years ago i got in to a fight with a friend who said his yugioh cards a real. Problem was his neighbour had the same fake cards who was 3 years older and backed him up. It was the time where i didnt wanted to play anymore. Today im into magic and sometimes we play with proxys. Its different to play as and with adults :)

I pretty sure some Pokemon TCG products will be real by default because they don't make fake certain type of products like the Battle Academy in this video, however, the stuff inside could be tampered with.

I used to be that one kid pointing out how fake some people’s cards were. I saved a lot of people from trading away real cards for fakes though 🤷♂️

The olyfactory actually do make some really good looking plushes. I have quite a few like umbreon, meowth, sylveon, lapras and these ones look really good and better than some official ones out there. I would post some pictures here if I could

It would be cool to take the fake cards, peel the stickers off carefully and you could cover your laptop or whatever in the stickers. that would look pretty sick.
I tried posting this video in the Facebook pokemon group and the admins delete the post every time.. they sell fake cards in rip and ship streams
In the UK, you can report sellers on markets selling fake products, and they get fines and bans.

I think fake Pokémon cards are stupid but tbh I think fake plushies don’t really matter but I also know people collect them but just my personal opinion 👍

I don't go to those places mostly I go to a real stores I don't go to other binners and I did not buy Pokemon cards online I do keep an eye out fake Pokemon cards
Bruh fake pokemon cards piss me off so much. Especially when theres no proper way of telling wheter something is fake or not
You also gotta be careful buying oldsr video games from flea markets especially the cartridge games as those can also be fake and it can be hard to tell. That pokemon snap you bought can be fake and you wouldnt know unless you open the cartridge, tons of repros out there being sold as authentic.
For christmas, I got a little box of all vs and vmaxes, even a rainbow charizard. I started to get suspicious of them over the months and i finally decided to do the rip test, and sure enough they were fake, every single card. Be careful, you guys! Never buy third party pokemon products or single cards online or anywhere.

That really pisses me off, how low do you gotta be to make fake cards in fake packs. How are they allowed to sell these.. I’d be telling someone that they’re selling fake cards and scamming people. I don’t know that whoever is in charge of the flea market would care but that shouldn’t be allowed. Cause like we know they’re fake, but a lot of people including kids wouldn’t know. It’s not like the people selling these don’t know they’re not real, they know they’re fake and they’re doing it on purpose to scam ppl.

17:05 dont ever buy anything fake, just promotes and raise the fake bussines and hurts the real hobby, in any case if you want a cheap way to play, learn and have fun, even there was a battle academy, with all included, but with some random fake cards you wont get any deck to play
What's even scarier is that I have had legit booster boxes with smaller pokeballs on the factory seal. Came fresh out of a case and opened one to verify the legitimacy. These were Brilliant Stars booster boxes.

My nephew bought fake cards in turkey. Sadly he got bullied in school for that. He didn't know it was fake neither did his mother
Is it really a good idea to reveal the indicators that give away the counterfeits? I know it will help regular people spot a fake but counterfeiters can use the information you and others are putting out publicly to refine their product.
I think the counterfeiters are well aware of the differences. Their goal is to keep their production costs low. Removing the obvious indicators of the fakes would make the fake cards cost more to produce.

These are called Non-oris in Indonesia. These are mostly sold online and the sellers say they are Non-originals because once we had reals but they were not produced anymore due to the outbreak (c*vid) The front “goodcard” is for the end. I pulled an Charizard VMAX which is really hard to get even if its non-ori.
At my local shop i saw a kid with a bunch of fake cards gold cards that looked cool though. The obvious ones were a mega umbreon and some eeveelution I dont remember the name of but knew wasn't real.

When I used to trade Pokémon cards at my old school, almost all of the kids had fakes and I could easily tell, they were fake rare ones too, charizards and stuff. I would always try and tell them and compared them to real ones, and the were so convinced they had such rare cards. Really sad

@@leoreacts6066 brilliant stars has some good pulls but not very many, evolving skies has some bad bad pull rates but some of the most beautiful cards I’ve seen, darkness ablaze has the charizard vmax and shining fates has the shiny and rainbow charizard vmax

Really long time before, they were selling fake packs for their original price. i didnt knew they were fake cause they were my first packs. when i figured out there was too many hits, i went to the community in social media. when i showed up them, they all said they were fake. that was the worst day in my life.
