A lot of things have changed in Resurrected compared to LoD, Trapsins couldn't utilize Griffon's Eye in LoD. The lightning skill damage/enemy res didn't apply to Sentries
Yup. 2.6 is when that change came into play. Their was always a lot of confusion with it since tooltip damage did increase (think it still does) but its a visual bug from my understanding. - res works on D2R though.
@@Snoozealot Assassins, Amazons, and Paladins are the best classes in Diablo 2, I love them. I have a special place in my heart for Barbarians too, though. Assassin is definitely my #1 favorite though next to Bowzons, but you can't play just Bowzon or Assassin the whole time, you have to switch it up if you want to find stuff more often or if you get bored. Diablo 2 is probably the best game of all-time.
hey good video. why do you get faster cast rate if doesn't do anything for traps? also what are the trap breakpoints and do the stats on the weapon affect traps?
Great question. FCR is for your mobility by teleporting around. Trap breakpoints are based off your weapon speed. You'll need to use an IAS Calculator to find your break points. Only really +skills or - res from weapons effect the trap damage. Hope this helps
Hey great video. I learned a lot from this. 1 question tho.. wouldn’t the build do more damage just using infinity on merc? I don’t get why people use a Sunder when they already have infinity. You could use a +1 trap gc rather than a Sunder?
Sunder hits first, so if a mob has anything more than 100 res it will bring it down to 95. After that conviction withh bring it down 90% then all gems. Some mobs have like 150+ res so this would do more damage. For normal mobs it doesn't matter because -100 is max.
Tizo's explanation is correct. Also their is a slight delay before infinity kicks in if you tele stomp a monster. Not really an issue with trap sin since you have to lay traps down anyways.
I just discovered ur channel, very good guides!!! can i request one build perhaps if u feel like doing something different? its Light aura sorc using dual dream and on merc using infinity, i also heard about fire aura sorc using dragon and hand of justice, maybe u can cover one of them? it would be great if doing so, anyway, keep up the good work :) !!!
No. It won't sustain. And I'm referencing my version with max resists, more mana regen, more mana and higher fcr. Ur merc will get clapped and u don't wanna try to face tank anything in there without a kicksin
Bro I like the innovative approach here, but it's a waste to plummet your survivability and resistances for the - light resist. Much better to run full skill build. Even in P8 drop 4 light traps and 1 death and whole screen will drop just off ur merc infinity. Ofcourse this is partially favored on me considering everything from HC perspective lol. But in either mode u r just pointlessly plummeting your dmg
Hardcore I wouldn’t use crescent moon. I’d most likely switch to hoto. However I find myself tanky enough for soft core. About 300 Baal runs even terrorized at 96 and I haven’t been close to dying.
PB has the fastest base attack speed. Since trap laying is based off weapon attack speed its easier to hit breakpoints. Probably can do it with a CS and more points into Burst of Speed though.
Thank you for this information.
Glad it was helpful!

No other +2 options beside 156 str req shield?
Nope. You could use a lidless for +1 but you need to make up some FHR somewhere.
So ive seen some builds using self infy in brandistock. What are your thought on that
It would work, but I don't think its worth it.

Correct. Thank you.
Does -res work for non ladder online? Someone told me it doesn’t work for non ladder yet, it’s for ladder 2.6 ONLY??
I thought it was Online in general. I could be wrong though.
So moon and spirit better then pluss 3 claws?
If it's only a +3 claw I would use Moon and Spirit personally.

Check out the werebear sorc guide on my channel. It's very close to what you're asking but you get to be a bear :). Glad you like the content!
They changed trap laying rate to fct ?
No, it's based off faster attack speed breakpoints. Faster cast rate is for the tele on engima, and mindblast etc
Does -enemy resist work in offline single player yet?
I'm not sure. That's one thing that has made this build annoying to test.
You use better res gear + burst of speed and then use random cmoon instead of pb. But fade is nice
Yup depends on how you want to hit your breakpoints. Both work really.
can this kill ubers
I haven’t tried honestly. I can kill Dclone with ease though.

Can put crecent moon into just about any crappy sword don't need a phase blade. No physical damage needed. So dex points can go to vitality or energy.
