I personally enjoyed the relationship between Adora and Catra from start to finish, with its ups and downs, and I am glad that Adora and Catra ended up a couple in the end despite all of the moments that nearly prevented it from happening.

May 15 was a legendary day with 2 ship becoming canon Catadora and Harlivy. I really hope you do more wlw ships in Animaded show because there may be few but there worth the watch at least. of course it’s ok to not like the ship, but people who claim this ship is toxic should watch the show again. nothing about it is romanticized. catra’s actions before season 5 were never painted in a good light (we see this especially in season 4). she did awful things and she realized this, apologized, and worked on being better to the point of willing sacrificing her life for others various times. also, many characters called catra out for her toxic behaviors (adora, double trouble, perfuma, entrapta, etc). adora only forgives her and develops a relationship with her AFTER she sees that catra is putting in the work to be better. if adora wants to forgive her, then that’s her choice. this is a show about two abused teenagers who grew up as child soldiers so why are people shocked that their relationship isn’t immediately healthy? people (even toxic ones) are allowed to change and better themselves. this show highlights the ugly side of trauma and abuse so if that isn’t for i’d suggest watching something else
