- Yesterday (29th October 2020) Nazaré was absolutely on fire and went XXL !
Hurricane "Epsilon" brought one of the biggest swells ever to the little fishing town! What a memorable day! Was it the biggest swell ever? New records? Luckily everyone is safe! Amazing Job from all the surfers out there and the enourmous courage from the rescue teams!
Here some highlights! More soon!

I’d like to go there, not to surf, not to watch others surf but just to witness the awesomeness of the waves themselves.
Same, their size is so fascinating
Someday someone will give us the sounds of the waves breaking without music or effects and when that happens it will be magical.... until then........🙁
Someday may be already next time! ✌️
What's with the stoopid sound track?
You read my mind! Enough with the weirdo music already!

@@SteveSearle for thrill I guess?

Haven't seen a video that depicts the scale of Nazare this well before!! Amazing
I've often wondered about the headlands at Nazare and how much erosion there is from the force of the water. A magnificent display of Nature's dominance.. and beyond scary. Those surfers sure know how to shout at the devil.
No thank you. Only 55 seconds I thought couldn’t be that engaging but it was. 👊🏾🌊🌊🌊🌊
Cheers man! Happy to hear that! 🙏
This looks like a Trailer to one EPIC movie! ~ Man vs Wave ~
I like the thundering sounds you used... Its like the drums of Poseidon hammering the waves onto the shorelines.
100 foot wave on Crave , its a documentary ..
The immensity of those waves! Whoa!
I gotta go to Nazare` someday (just to watch) 🌊
Abraços aos meus amigos portugueses. Nação linda
Ain’t no way you find me out there, even on the jet ski
I wouldn't even stand on the shore

These waves are pure energy! Mother nature is really gorgeous!
I'm surprised these dudes don't sink straight to the bottom with those tungsten steel balls they have! 😂😆😂

@@lc3993 brilliant! However must be very thrilling :)
Wow, a whole four comments down before someone mentions the size/composition of the participants' testicles..! Slack, guys - slack.
Sono senza parole !!! Con una montagna d'acqua che gli ruggisce alle spalle .... e loro sono il ritratto della serenità !!!!! È pazzesco.... Sicuramente sono di un altro pianeta!!!!! Bravi è dire poco !!!!!

I was watching this on Surfline I think, absolutely insane! Sick footage!
Thanks! Yes what an amazing day
On Surfline it said it was only 30 feet but that looks like 60+ 🤙🏻
@@caidenmetekingi5086 30 fts? They need glasses!
Good evening everybody.
Thank you so much.
Wonderful
Oh my Lord....I luv Nazareth.
Without words.
Enjoy your night.
Awesome video!!!!
If im ever present to see this, before that water reaches me, my heart would give out.
I love water, whether that be drinking a gallon of filtered a day or, swimming in it. I especially love coastal waters and the beaches from the Canary Islands such as Fuerteventura, it's gloriously blue and clear, so clear you can see and feel the Parrot fish swimming along with you.
This tho, this amount of water, just induces massive anxiety. 😬😳😬
Ahhhhhh, just another pleasant afternoon of water bending!😎
Damn those dudes are you not scared? Show some respect to mother nature and run away I'm scared from the screen T^T
Here in Portugal is very normal have waves like this in Nazaré soo we are not scared of them because they are like normal to us lol
@@marianachambel i never witnessed such thing may be that's why i feel like it's something to be scared of, btw, it's still dangerous right?
@@namjinyoonseokmintaekook4114 yeah it is if you are surfing the wave but from the cliff the people are its not
Yes.. if this was me i would probably die because watching it through screen just terrified me 😱

Much RESPECT TO YOU SURFERS🙏JUST AWESOME🥰
not me having an anxiety while watching this video 💀😫
Ent
Me too sis me too im absolutely terrified of the ocean
Nazaré maravilhosa... Um pedaço do meu país maravilhoso...
❤️🇵🇹 ❤️🇵🇹❤️🇵🇹❤️🇵🇹❤️
Some people think sky divers, base jumpers etc have guts...but THIS....man surfers are on a completely different level, they are the real fearless ones. Just watching this makes my chest tighten up. Danggggg.
Scary and the power .awesome vid
Reminds me of that guy in Pokemon who wanted to surf on some really high wave 😂
Yesss
That guy snaked him on a 80foot wave 🤣
Yeah,
That cheeky bugger.
Oh baby!! You go ocean! I adore you! I respect you!!
Stay psyched and stay safe everyone. May God bless you all🙏🏼🙏🏼
Its the music that gives you the chills. It's the cold wind that gives the people watching there the chills but the waves give chills of excitement to the Surfers
this gives me the chills
Yes was pretty insane that day!
The atmosphere and the crowd cheering and praying for the guys! An absolute memorable day! ✌️
@@CoastlineTobi it´s massive! wish I could have been there.
@@derGrantler next time you are there 👍
I had a Panic attack when i watched this video 😱
I love the music choice
This video is comfortable to the mind and the eyes
This why i have a paddling pool.
MAGNIFICO!!!💞💞💞👏👏👏👏👏
That's INSANE!
I really don't understand, how ppl r so fearless inspite of standing very close to the giant waves... What will happen if suddenly the giant waves are striking hard and washing out the entire crowd's life....safety is important than enjoyment.... But that was a lovely capture of waves, to say in short, a great dance of the mother nature....
From this footage you can realize. But the places where people are seeing the waves is no near of the beach itself
When mother Nature whips up a wave or two she really brings it big time!
Been out in swells 1/4 this size and it almost killed me. Those were the days.

Had to watch this to overcome my fears!
Why, I mean why this music!?!?
Sharks music
?????????.😲🤔🤔🤔🤔WHY
Epic. I'm surprised to see such big waves.
The lighthouse is destined to be taken by the sea with the amount of force those waves slam into the cliff face

Snaked at Nazare 50+ft wave then snowballs himself lol

Those guys are OUT OF THEIR MINDS!
The guy riding that wave has the biggest balls on earth!
I dont surf, but i like the sound like dolby sorrounds.
These waves always reminds me of the Old Pokémon Big Waves scene.
Nooooooooooo
was that a party wave a nazare, now that is crazy
Interesting editing. Didn’t know which way the waves we’re going.
nice edit and nice Bonbs!! :-)
Thank you Jose! ✌️
Wow that inside section is super heavy
You know it's huge when the sun goes down early🌊
Incredible there are men out there with the skills to ride these waves ?? It's x games mode on steroids 💪
This is way gnarly Dudes!
great to see the surfing community doing their bit for social distancing

Allow Nature to be nature. Stop adding music to nature scenes, with animals and People who are Talking,
Both people and animals r same😂
Beautiful video
I reached my limit at about 20foot, I don't ever want to know what it's like to wipeout on one of those waves.
No thank you, my hands are sweating 😅 just watching the video.
Crazy SOB's
Here in Humboldt Cal waves are currently breaking at 29 ft.
Yeah I agree, but my limit was around 15ft in Florida simply because they don’t really get much bigger there.
Shy M
😨 holy 💩
Yea I believe 18 was the biggest I ever surfed when I was younger and that was big enough for me.
What surprises me is how such big and heavy balls could still float on the water.
Mind-blowing 🙂
Awestruck...hard to believe waves this big actually exist 😧😦
do they rent out snorkel equipment there?
Extreme in a biblical sense.
Oh my days, Id be terrified x
Just amazing 👍
It's amazing 😍😍😍😍
Those massive waves are terrifying
nothing
just me watching a horror movie and my worst nightmare
before i go to sleep
Balls of solid rock😱
Mis respetos para las olas de Nazaré, son gigantes y bravas
As pessoas em pé vendo as ondas parece até aquele episódio do picapal as cataratas do niagra
Kkkkkkkkkkkkkk
If you ever want to know what Tsunami waves look like...this is the place
For most people who are used to the situation in the water, this is close to a horror film
And yet there were crazy people surfing in those waves..
Nazaré, lugar lindo é assustador.
Foi isso que senti.
I’m thinking it’s a no go for me, I’ll chill on the cliff with some coffee and watch.
😍😍😍 me encantaaaa.
Facing your fear is bad assssssss
Wow what a monster massive....
God I love the ocean. It’s my spirit
Gawd...riding this backside!
At around 45 or so did that guy cut the other off then the guy behind him ran in to the guy who cutoff in the first place? If so, with tow in that is brutal.
It sure looked like it to me
Excellent 👌🌹🥰
Hell Yeah!
Yessss
Epic
I thought I would hear the sound of those huge waves and the reaction sounds from those viewers.

Hurricanes only exist when there is tropical air involved. By the time these storms get here, they are a massive low pressure, not a hurricane. We dont have hurricanes in EU.
But there was tropical air involved. Epsilon sucked it up straight from the equator
Hurricanes in the north atlantic build in the Caribbean and move up the east coast of North America. By the time the reach the north east, they travel back across the atlantic as a low pressure system. It´s no longer a hurricane despite how strong it could be. These low pressures in the atlantic travel for longer distance, so they produce larger swells then hurricanes. Hurricanes give the american east coast great swells but never as strong as these long period swells that come to EU.
