    Such a helpful vid, well done and thank you. I learned more with this vid than several from much bigger channels.

      @@rachelrhee You broke the info down so that it was understandable to those of us who are still learning. I think the experts forget to do that. Also your presentation and style is very cool. Never give up as I'm certain you're channel is going to be huge. Thanks again. One question, I know you explained it, but am I right to say that you use Descript because it's easier to work with than Riverside? Do you feel the extra cost of Descript is worth it? Does Descript have features that you can't get with Riverside? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just looking to start a podcast with minimum outlay. As my name implies, I am dirt cheap (skate)! I do appreciate I need the right set up though...you can't succeed using poor equipment. I have a Fifine T669 mic on the way...apparently they go well for the price. I think I will use my gopro as my computer camera.

      @@ADirtCheapLifeParaguay Thank you! And yes I actually love Descript a lot more than Riverside (though both are great!). If I were to go one or the other, I would actually go with Descript. Editing and splicing together different clips, removing the filler words, studio sound, etc is much more seamless. They also have video recording as well! I haven't tested that feature out yet with a guest but will check it out and let you know which I like better!

    Thanks for sharing that info! There's at least 1 youtube video host demonstrating how to use my cell phone to record the audio, instead of buying a microphone. I can't remember what app they used for that. Your info about Spotify is helpful 🙂

      @rachelrhee  2 місяці тому +1

      Ooh yes a phone could also work! There's so many low entry ways to create a podcast now. Once you start yours please share! Would love to listen in!
