So far, this is the best Splinter to me. Seeing this former action star at his most depressed state, overbeared by loneliness, past traumas, dysmorphia and the necessity to raise his four mutant sons, suddently rising to save said mutant sons is absolutely touching. Thank you for giving him justice
Something I really appreciate is how Splinter uses his rat tail in this fight. He’s really making use of what was (unwillingly) given to him here, using his tail to strike or catch Draxum off guard. It really shows how well he adapted in terms of fighting after the hand he was dealt. The last time I remember a Splinter using his tail to fight, I think it was 2003!Splinter. Plus, I just LOVE when characters with tails incorporate them into how they fight. I think this kind of thing should be done more!
