What partly makes this album so great, although it always was, is that they were able to put this ribbed and punk in drublic out one right after the other. Three of the best hardcore albums ever made. I've come a long way in that. I pad their first single on Mystic gott around 85 or so. Nothing special. Around the time this was out and some of my younger friends were really big on and nofx. I used to always tell them it was derivative of early Bad Religion and The Descendants. That they needed to look back this wasn't the first time somebody did this. However, after punk in drublic, I remember the day. I walked into a little Punk Boutique, and the girl behind the counter put this on and cracked it. It certainly was so clear that they had their own thing going on. They had been around the scene forever. They always had the best jokes because of that experience. They took everything that came before and kept the best parts indefinitely created their own sound. 4 me it wasn't until they got El Hefe that they really came into their own. But there is no denying those three albums are an achievement that may never be matched. S&M Airlines is in there but just not quite at the level. Saw them on this tour with lagwagon, and they were better than when I saw them in the 80s by far. At this point, they have it all down. It's great that they play full albums. Very few bands can get away with that. Especially in the genre of hardcore. Can you imagine the circle jerks playing all 16-plus minutes of group sex.
Thank Propagandhi for this if you started to get into them by that album, it's the album where Fat Mike said he had to elevate his lyrics a shitload and that some of Propagandhi's first LP changed their sound forever, starting with Punk In Drublic.

@@fredBlinderz True p... There's no such thing as a 'true' anything, you can love the music and still just look it up on UA-cam. Hell, I'd buy this album if I could, and I will one day. But that doesn't make me 'not a true punk' if I don't own this album yet.
@@sumspring4112 it was kinda joke, i was answering thé people asking why they were so little views...i really think lots of people got the physical object :)
A blackened wick is what remains
The flame was blown out just recently
Although the candle hadn't burned down to the stick
It won't be lit again, the day won't be quite as bright
We don't know what she may have been
All we know is what she left behind
An apartment cluttered with children's toys
Photos of good times
In the bedroom, there's sheets on the windows
There's a four poster bed for a reason
On the floor there's a box full of secrets
It won't be opened
Here older boys and girls would play
All inhibitions were left behind
And as the door would close, her face began to shine
This was her finest hour, this was her finest time
She's gone and it's not gonna be alright, not for me she he's gone
And it's not gonna be alright, not for me she's gone
But not forgotten, she's still here
In all those years she touched so many lives
Who's gonna watch the little girl she left behind?
Carol Anne stands alone in the school yard
All the other children have gone after waiting for hours
She can't understand why her mother left her sad
In the darkness she sees definition
In the silence, she hears someone calling
After nightmares, she lies in bed screaming
But there's no reaction, there's no one listening, there's no one
Now, she's gone and it's not gonna be alright, not for me she's gone
And it's not gonna be alright
Not for me she's gone
And it's not gonna be alright
Not for me she's gone
And it's not gonna be alright
Not for me she's gone
And it's not gonna be alright
Not for me she's gone
And it's not gonna be alright
Not for me she's gone
I think this is the best song on that album, an album that is outstanding from start to finish.
From 1:33 the bacing vocal just perfect. Actually the whole album is perfect.

Ribbed and sm airline quite solid too tho
Underrated band. This song is amazing
They were never underrated band!
Nofx is legend
One of their greatest
the best
This drummer is amazing
Erik Sandin AKA Smelly
He plays with a single kick pedal too
Crazy the way he jumps between the rythmes xD
He said he tried to imitate Bomber from RKL as best as he could. Smelly rips.
“Whos gunna watch that little girl she left behind?!?!”
Sept 19th (9/19/20) they are playing the whole album live
いつ聴いてもこのツインペダルのバスがヤバい❗かっこよすぎ‼️
the drummer uses a single bass pedal. he just kicks it very fast. :^)
