You forgot to compare the types of keystone adjustment. The Capsule II, for example, does not have horizontal, nor quadraleral keystone asjustment. This is a big deal for campervans, RVs, van lifers etc. So much so, in fact, that I'll likely be returning the Capsule II that I purchased in favour of the Capsule Max.
The ability to cast from my phone to this projector is what sold me. Looked at so many others that didn't have this feature in this price range. Movies? Yeah! TV shows? Yeah! Productivity? Yeah! Old school emulators on my phone? Yeah!

I purchased the Capsule 2 because you said it had keystone correction both horizontally and vertically... I can’t find an option for horizontal keystone, even with automatic keystone correction on. Sucks, because that’s the function that I wanted the most

Keystone correction vertically and horizontally isn’t on “pretty much every Ankor projector” as he’s noted in the video… there wasn’t really a specification on whether the capsule 2 or capsule max had that feature. Anyway, that comment is a year old.. don’t really use the projector anymore

You can connect a Bluetooth speaker, but that will become your primary/only speaker. The 8W speaker on Capsule II and Max are surprisingly good for their size. Hope that helps.
I'm just wondering I just bought a Nebula capsule 1 from Amazon, I paid £259 for the capsule 1 last week brand new although now it looks to have increased to £339.. max is £479 new and £383 ‘new refurb’... and the capsule 2 is £579. I think the price difference between what I paid and for the capsule 2 is too much... basically the max new refurb seems ideal but doesn’t have the usb charging which the capsule 2 does, so annoying! I’m only ever going to use Netflix, prime and UA-cam so I’m not too fussed about the software side of things. Will I actually notice a massive difference between picture quality and brightness. The capsule 1 is 480p and 100 lumens compared to the 200 lumens and 720p. I know this is noticeable on a real tv/monitor but would I notice this on a projector?
The Capsule Max is on sale for $399 right now. Does Android TV and USB-C in Capsule II make worth the extra $180 and losing 1.5 hrs of battery? Was thinking I might just pair the Max with my Chromecast and call it a day
I haven't tried using a Chromecast on the Max. But I think if you're cool with adding a streaming device to the Max, then that's probably a better route for you. I'm a big fan of Android TV and like that I don't need to attach anything to the Capsule II.

Are the Max and Capsule II able to charge and watch as the same time? Or do you need to pause and charge for two hours every time it dies? For example, binging a series that’s 8+ hrs long.
Capsule II sadly doesn’t have the horizontal keystone that the Max has. Capsule II only supports vertical keystone up to 40 degrees. Really sad about it because I bought the Capsule II from this video because I saw his reply :(

No lag noticeable with my old Xbox. But if you are streaming from a PC through Steam, then I would check out my new review on the Nebula Solar Portable. The projector is brighter and has a native Steam app. Hope that helps!
So you want to plug the Firestick into the HDMI port then power it from the USB port? Probably doable but why? You must not want to watch for very long as that will kill the battery on the projector pretty fast. It only last 2-3 hrs powering only itself.
It all depends on what the apps support. Apps within the Capsule II's Android TV software will support subtitles just like any other streaming device. With the Max, I suggest using a Roku or Fire Stick to make sure you're getting full subtitle functionality.
You're joking right? Navigating on a Nebula 2 is a joke. Max has the mouse option on the remote? Wow!!! So you don't even need the Anker app... More compatibility with BT instead of using WiFi all the time... It's a portable projector, what's the point of being portable when you always need WiFi? And I'm sure there are no limitations with android on!! Android tv sucks.... Nebula Max is more optimal, unfortunately I own Nebula 2 (kickstarter) while using VPN, Netflix me kicks me out of my login, which means gotta do it through a browser, (browsers suck on android tv) not to mention that I can't control the Projector through the app and my phone or tablet since you need the same IP address on, (so no VPN for me).... Android TV is simply bad software... Nebula Max is by Far the winner!!! Better remote, better software, and its latest product. I would trade my Nebula 2 with a Max, any day

Also, there is a lack a quality with Plex or any other streaming way to play mkv video. Do Fire Stick, Roku or chromecast allow to navigate on moderne apps with no loss in quality ?
All American projector reviewers are in obsession with playing Netflix! If Netflix wants to be played they will have to lick my boots! Otherwise I will forget they ever existed. Like now! I haven't had Netflix for years, and I don't give a damn.

Don´t fall for them. The firm lies about the Ansi Lumens. And they have a rather long throw ratio. So if you have a little room, you are screwed.
Anker NEBULA Capsule is a good projector. But by not charging via a Type C charger it is portable to any place that has 110 volts.
With a adapter and PD charger is now possible

Yes. Under settings + projector mode, you have the option of rear projection, inverted front projection and inverted rear projection. Hope that helps.

I haven't tried using a Chromecast on the Max. But I think if you're cool with adding a streaming device to the Max, then that's probably a better route for you. I'm a big fan of Android TV and like that I don't need to attach anything to the Capsule II.

Yes. You can use a Fire Stick or Roku on either projector and use all the apps from the streaming stick.

Does it normal for anker nebula capsule max to have some click sound inside if we shake it up and down?
Mine does not do that. If you have a problem performance-wise, I would contact Anker support. My experience with them has been very good.
