7:00 "why spend 100 minerals on a unit that doesn't stay forever" I have been asking the same question on discord many times, but apperantly, it is a bug that no one plans to fix.
For me, Salvage was important only for first 7 minutes. Add 1 gas and 2 hellbats, and after your wave, salvage them to get tier 2 and add wraith and raven. After your next wave, salvage raven and get second gas and start adding wraiths and ravens from now on. Once your SBC would be 58 sec away from spawning, sell all wraiths and get tier 3, add galeon carriers and other units you need and add free SBC. After that time I rarely used salvage anymore. For me, salvage's main strength is not about surpricing your opponment, but more about being able to add more units, then sell some of them go get upgrades when you need them, and to make switch from wraith who force enemy detection and scans, into an actual army. HH is the only commander who can make expensive unit, then after your wave spawn, sell it, and get quick upgrade or tier up. All other commanders need to either keep making army, or invest into upgrades. HH can go around it.
Here is a very sad thing about HH. In the past, even with fast-landing and cheaper Demos Vikings, HH still lost against Raynor vikings in late game, even if you micro your vikings very hard. After the Free-SBC change, you could counter Raynor in late game. You just needed to make many galeon carriers and add your free SBC and some demos vikings and ravens. Once you engaded Raynor, you just needed to teleport your SBC into Raynor wave and start sniping vikings. Vikings AoE didn't help against big SBC, which bought HH so much time, enough time for Galeon Carriers to close the distance and finish long-range but frail vikings. ( And if Raynor added Hyperion, your Demos Vikings could clear it quickly with wild missiles ) Now there is no SBC ( only one per few waves ), your vikings are more expensive, and you no longer can land tham quickly. So yeah, have fun lossing to Raynor air while plaing an air commander. Sigh.
@@kmpgos4158 there has been a detailed discussion on discord about the matchup. You can blink vikings forward to bait shots, negating aoe (mostly) if you're vs mass viking. Of course the matchup is not that simple but hnh still wins unless lag stops you from microing.
well had he rushed tempest and forgo'd getting any units i think you would've lost your turret right off the bat.... Also the whole sovereign BC only lasting 1 wave .... is kinda .... underwhelming
Dragoons actually are the play against tychus because of their range. He just needed to spread them out more so cannonball can’t stun them in a large group. Immortals just lose to cannonball. 2 lines of goons into a tempest transition is the answer.
What if you did an explosive-focused build as Han and Horner? Widow mines, exploding hellbats and tac bombers? Essentially units that do additional damage on death. Galleons ok so long as they only build hellbats or widows. Since Zag, Stukov, and Stetmann have exploding suicide units, why not try out that strat with HnH?
It's a sort of a power shift. Now his early game isn't shit, and lategame isn't op. Before patch hnh had like 25% wr before 6 minutes and 75% at 24. Imo tya should just return old hnh and forget about forcing sbcs into the army, and give vikings at least 50% transform time reduction.
Han and Horner but without the Horner😢 (no BCs)

Why did Hahn and Horner battlecruisers change I thought you got a free permanent one every 5 minutes or something

Deimos beat raynor vikings hard with micro
@@Tdvtdvtdv Only in the begining, but once raynor vikings hits critical mass, they get outclassed hard.

rip sovereign, you were the coolest H&H unit.

You salvage to..... buy that next gas refinery while fielding units on credit I guess.
Those tempest!
High levels of tempest enjoyment
Don't go immortals vs Tychus lol, they do no damage to light. Go either hg dragoon reaver or hg tempest.
Tychus is an armored unit, not light.
@@XterminatOfficialI believe tychus is light
grounded vikings = new meta
basically thicc gola
