I cant get my 1st layer to stick well I have tried glue stick still same issue.

Check the following points:
1. The hot bed is not level and needs to be leveled
2. Hot bed deformation (An easy way to judge whether your bed is warped is to use a steel ruler or ruler, put it on the bed, and observe the gap between the edge and the bed.)
3. The nozzle is or is too close to the hot bed
4. The hot bed temperature setting is too low
5. It may be that the contact area of the object is small, and brim can be added to the printer
6. Do not turn on the fan on the first layer of printing.

Just a suggestion. Your video should follow your "attempt" at assembly instructions. Your Quick Start Guide does not match the contents. Unfortunately, this is all too common for chinese tech. I will find another video for the details left out of the Quick Start Guide and this video.
