I’ve owned the 39g for a few years now and I use it when cycling. This speaker is great for a little music without adding much weight. It also does extremely well with all the wind when I take calls, no one can tell I’m riding. In the beginning of 2023 my wife accidentally washed it and I just knew I would have to buy another one and nope this thing is working like it never happened. So yeah for me this is a great product worth every penny...
Other use cases is in factory settings. In many factories or parts of factories they don't allow in ear headphones. They do allow small or even large speakers. Working on the line can pull you away from your speaker where you can't hear your music or require you to turn yours up which irritates eveyone else. So this is a good alternative as you can put it in your breast pocket or clip it to a hat to have it near your ears and keep everyone else around you happy since you can dial in the volume to where just you can hear it. It's been pretty handy. Very useful if you work in a setting where they don't allow ear buds or headphones. Also discreet enough where they wouldn't notice you had a speaker in settings where they don't allow speakers.
I use the Dewalt all the time working in a warehouse. We can't use ear buds because of fork trucks ect, so this is a nice little device to still get music while working.
if u use these in public though people are going to hate u. Otherwise I would just buy the JBL go 3. On a side note the speakers on my MacBook pro m1 are trash I have to do them for volume and now they are ok but the app adds static. Life is a struggle out here with all these different eqs
Agree about playing speakers with people around. And if I'm out for a walk I don't want music blaring. As an aside my mac book pro m2 speakers are very good. Though I tend to use wireless earbuds or wired earphones if listening to music at home. And my phone had a decent dac and 3.5mm headphone.
@@Andyhandleif I were to delete the eq app off my MacBook I can barely hear them at max volume because they seem tuned for bass. I dk I got it directly from Apple so I assume it's supposed to be like that but I have no idea. The way it comes I can't hear the dialogue in shows or apple arcade but the speaker booster app helps

I got the dewalt for almost 2 years running strong. Now a days the dewalt update their design no more magnetic. Been wondering if i need to choose a different clip speaker with magnetic feature. The only concern i have is the signal bluetooth strength if the signal cutsoff with wall interference. The dewalt speaker i got at the moment magnetic dewalt the signal receiver is great litterally go out to throw trash with speaker still playing music while i got my phone in 2nd floor indoor charging. A good 50 ft away distance 👌. I love the magnetic feature sucks they got rid of it. Welp I'll worry about it when my speaker finally dies on me and needs replacing
Great use for CDL drivers. US federal law prohibits using in ear Bluetooth so these would be perfect for calls and music if the equipment you’re driving doesn’t have any built-in vehicle Bluetooth and working radio available. I clip them to my uniform’s collar, so I can hear better amidst the diesel engine and road noise. All I have to do is press the center button to answer calls. My employer’s fleet has windshield mounted cams and multiple exterior sensors with A.I. tech (Motive) that tracks not only potential exterior blindspots but also employee drivers, with speed, following distance, lane control, and non-seatbelt use warnings. If it tracks any in-hand electronic device usage (excluding CB radio), it’ll give the driver a warning to, “keep your eyes on the road,” and immediately emails a small recorded video segment of your violation to your employer admins (manager, GM, safety officer, trainer). 1st & 2nd offense face 3-5 days suspension without pay. 3rd offense, termination.
Ive got the Noxgear. Use it when i mountain bike rain or shine. Its fucking great! I love it! I lost the first one I purchased and immediatly replaced with another one.
I can see it being useful if you are in a loud environment and headphones aren't an option for safety. If I wanted music I have a silicone sleeve with straps for my JBL flip, but if I just needed to hear my phone ring and be able to take a call it might suit. But the price point doesn't match my potential use case which is quite limited.
@@DHRMEI never tried the DeWalt one but love that 39G I have 2 of them and they are great but same thing happens to both the magnetic clip keeps cracking and the magnet falls out

Thank you so much, guys, for your great reviews, even though I see a few downs in Jabra Active 8s I see it fitting for work travel, treks, sports, and even regular listening with a few adjustments. I understand what you saying but where I work you can't have your phone on your person, I have the s24u, or use headphones. so small speakers are pretty much the only way since they also don't want your music to be to loud only for you to hear.

I feel sad and bitter. I'm not angry, just disappointed.

Have you tested it with Chatgpt voice ?
If they were selling at the same price, which one you pick today? Sennheiser Momentum 4 or Sony WH 1000 XM5?

As much time as I spend outside working with my phone in my shirt pocket playing a podcast or something, yeah I may pick one up.
The Noxgear 39G is also more then double the cost over the Dewalt, so I think for the price difference, I'd go with the Dewalt

DeWalt has a neckband with a built-in speaker that I'm actually genuinely interested in trying.

holy shit that beard is amazing
Great review I’ve been wanting to get one of these , I work outside so it’s better than having my headphones
DHRME - Please help me make a decision. I just want the best sounding earbuds. Please suggest which one to go for - EX or AZ80 ?
Skullcandy Wired Jibs are cheap, and sound decent.
Guys which headphones are better jbl tune 520bt or sony whch520
can u review Realme buds Air 5 pro?
please compare this with portronics talk three also
please do the beats studio pro headphones. Also interested in beats studio buds plus earbuds. If you can only do one then do the headphones
🤷♂️ better choose headphones in my opinion. But maybe on a construction site where you work alone ? But not for me, doei

These probably put out more wattage than most cellphones. Nextel phones were typically 1watt of audio output.
