I’ve been screenprinting since middle school, this is revolutionary, IDGAF what some of these ppl are sayin.
Burning screens has always been the bane of my existence. I bought this thing last month, taking shipment this week and i can’t wait to get back to production.

@hoodclassictelevision What are you saying. Let’s talk. Emojis are for thoughtless beings. Let’s talk about what you think and why. It takes time to coat and dry a screen, it take time to expose a screen, it takes time to wash out a screen. Right or wrong? This machine along with the bigger commercial grade ones take that entire process and does it in 30-90 seconds. What method do you use that compares?

I use a Method known as ‘Superior Skills.’
      Ever heard of it? 🙂
What it takes “Everybody else” to do has unequivocally zero baring on ‘My Modus Vivendi.’
It doesn’t take ME that long.
I’m actually Talented at ‘Everything’ I do.
So ‘For Me’, the only being I’m speaking for,…..”This is a toy and not professional.”
And the O.G. Printers who taught Me would emphatically concur.
And The LIAR emoji was directed at ‘Mary’, because I KNOW for absolute FACT that NO PRINTER with experience and SKILL Is going to prefer this toy to a professional set up.
It’s not that labor intensive when you KNOW what you are doing.
Birds 🦅 don’t have to think to fly.

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  Рік тому +1

No one said this was a professional set up. The professional grade machine is the QS200 and the QS2536. This is a solution for people that want to start and don’t have the room or don’t want to deal with a wash out booth, exposure unit, or emulation etc. no one is attacking your way of doing things or your level of expertise. Just because you don’t agree with something doesn’t mean it isn’t a valid solution for someone else. Superior skill is not a printing method. Tell us how you are using curing emulsion, exposing a screen and washing it out faster than a digital thermal head. Also I don’t think it’s fair for you to speak for all professional screen printers. I’m just trying to offer a solution for specific individuals. That is not you, clearly, you are a professional skilled screen printer. I’m just curious as to why you are here and not screen printing or teaching your skills and helping people?

How big of a design can you put in front of a hoodie or Tshirt? It’s not too time consuming but it looks rather small. Is it for crafters or Tshirt hoodie business? Where can I get one. I need a 16x20 though like my Heat Press. Consumers want some designs to cover up the front and some like little quotes. Will this unit do that? Heeelp! 😮

You can not get a printer, exposure unit, washout booth, power washer, multi color press and everything else needed chemicals etc. for $2800 chad. Don’t lie to the people. A REAL set up like you said is gonna be way more than that. Maybe you can get a Home Depot set up but that’s not Real. Nice try though. It’s not for you i get it no problem with that. Thanks for watching and commenting. There is no REAL set up for anywhere in the ballpark of $2800 though for the record. Also that real set up still doesn’t save you any time. That’s the beauty of this thing. Computer or phone to screen to print. Done. That’s beautiful.

The image print size is 8x11. The machine can be found for $2400, another $200 for the 5 screen startup kit and extras can run about $600. The image size would be good for classrooms but addition frames and backboards cost $120. Also screens don't appear to be reusable.

Its not for commercial use. There is aluminum frames you can purchase for this version but if you have a full business you would purchase a goco pro that does the same thing with full sized aluminum frames. I am catering to people just getting started with no space for all the bulky equipment who would like to screen print. From burn time to print time. It takes about 90 seconds to burn the screen then it is ready to be used.

Well. Nothing is stoping you anyone from doing that. But again you still have to learn to expose a screen with that light. Don’t pretend like it’s easy. Especially with a light and not an exposure unit. There is no learning to expose a screen with this. I can put this in my luggage with my laptop.
Then you have to wash out that exposed screen. Do me a favor. Make a video and show that entire process. Show the people. It’s easy to just say what you can do. It sounds super simple but we both know it’s not. This is simple. I showed you that. Show your amazing light and let me see you expose a screen and wash it out and print something that looks good. Let’s see you do it. I’ll be the first to subscribe to your channel and turn on the notifications so I can get all your videos. Please, I’d love to see it. No cuts cause I want to see how long it takes to expose that screen and compare it to how fast I burn mine. Burning and washing out the screen and making a print. I estimate your video to be what, 1-2 hours for a one color print. I’ll do the same print in 3 minutes. Let’s do it.

The screens are reusable if you keep them clean and on the frame. However it is super easy to burn a new one with the mesh. If you take it off the frame then try to use it again if you have a multi color design you will not be able to line things up perfectly again. I’d just burn new screens. It’s cost you no where near as much time as traditional screening printing.

It definitely is for beginners but i have a big goco pro across the room that does the same thing with full sized screens that is not for hobbiest. If you don’t have the space for exposure unit, wash our booth, dark room etc you can start off at home and this is the perfect solution. Somebody like you would obviously get the bigger version that exposes full sized metal screens. the GoCoPro is still a better solution than buying all the equipment that you have. Exposes all your screens in a tenth of the time with registration marks . Does halftones faster and more accurate. I promise you i have not even a fraction of the time or experience you have printing and exposing and doing artwork but with the gocopro or the miscreen my half tones are gonna be exposed, printed and look more accurate than yours. Let me know when you are ready. We can go live and have a friendly competition. With the GoCoPro you would have started printing your shirts with the traditional way you’d still be at the washout booth while I’m on my way home. That entire process is a time killer. Imagine how much more you can do without wasting so much time. This is how you get your time back. Just saying.

I just took a moment to look up ikon art. I don’t see any machine. I only see a clip board and lap, and screens. So I’m assuming you still leave to learn how to expose screens. And also have to wait for each of your screens to be exposed. If you want to do half tones with tune detail you have to learn how to produce the artwork and print the screens from your computer then wait for them to burn. With this I can take a photo of you with my smart phone and send it to print and the software produces the half tones for me. I can get extremely detailed images in just 90 seconds. I would say the method you mentioned is a good alternative on a budget for solid colors and less complicated designs this is the step up from that to simplify the process. Get rid of that burn time with exposing screens with a lamp. This is just the unit and the screens with a cable. And gives you better quality prints. I’ll show you in an upcoming video what this little thing can do in 90 seconds. This is my first video. I got you.
