sweet card! I love bugs. I liked the idea of stinging the buttons together! I find myself with the stardust sakura pen a lot, it gives just enough sparkle without going over the top :)
Love it! Love those little stamps...you make it look so easy....Im a new stamper...and get ink everywhere...I might try these...love the card...so original and pretty ...tfs
What a really cool idea....I'm away caring for my dad right now.....brought a few things with me....and was looking for a card idea I could do while away(my goal is to put our cruising album together)...this fills the bill....and what a really neat idea....TFS☺
I think it'd be cool to stamp Inside, with the same stamps and colors but lighter and on each side of the diagonal. Kind of a faux window effect. Lighter and less so you could still sign the card. I like the interplay with different honeycombs.
I really enjoyed your tutorial Lindsay! If you have the time, could you recommend a "fast grab" liquid glue like you mentioned? I'm always trying to find something that dries fast. Thank you so much!!
How do you keep your white gel pens from getting clogged up? I'd like to use them for highlighting over my Prismacolor drawings, etc., but after I used them even for a short while, they don't work anymore, and I have tried every brand out there. Thanks!
Lindsey, do you think you could do a review on the brushes for us? I have seen people comment about using a cheap shaving brush to get the same effect (only 1$ online) but I wasn't sure how well it would work and if its a good comparison.
You know, I am using my regular ones, if there is an issue I can always wash them. I would have separate sponges tho, like my bottle cap ones that are cheap to make. The brushes get kinda pricey so I am using them for both for now. It is good to hear from you, I hope you have been well:)
thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich I am well thank you! I pulled out 3 of my brushes and designated them for my oxides but I am THRILLED they are interchangeable. I use separate sponges. Thank you!!!!!
How pretty the stamped section looks. Love your cards Lindsay. This is sure to cheer someone up.
I have really enjoyed the projects with the Bee-Utiful Day stamps, it's on my wish list. The large bee is just toooo cute!
So bright and cheerful. It definitely would give me a boost if I were not feeling well!

Loved this tutorial - I'd really love to learn how to make my own cards but stamps and ink are so expensive! Build up gradually I guess :-)

Do you need separate blending brushes for the oxides?
