- In this video, we tested the TAB5105, a full range all in one soundbar from Philips. This 2.0 system soundbar is very easy to use with a compact remote control and it supports wireless bluetooth connection. You can also wall mount it and it has hdmi, optical and 3.5mm audio ports.
Excellent video! That remote is much nicer than what you get from much more expensive soundbars. Thanks for making this video.
If we use any kind of Philips 7-series TV on the desk we must place soundbar behind TV. We can see that screen is very low to the ground and we wouldn't be able to see lower part of the subtitles for example.
Been trying to get mine working for week now. Nothing makes it work. I have a 2019 Toshiba Smart TV. Not sure what the problem is.
Bought this last week from my local Argos for £49.99. Works well in my small flat and some immense noises when playing Playstation and XxBox games. If you are buying this it does not come with a HDMI cable and using a standard one I couldn't get any sound of it. Invested in a more expensive HDMI cable (just £11 from Asda/WalMart) and boom...it was ready to go.

@@ckypaintballer am afraid not…tried 3 cheap cables from Poundland, Asda and Tesco and not one of them worked until I forked out for a decent one…sad times ;-p
And you connected to it with Bluetooth?
@@Mudstersrocks There is a Bluetooth button (BT) on the remote...just press that and it will pair up with your device. ;o)
Hi may I know the specs of your HDMI cable? I just bought a cheap one in Dunnes, and experienced the same, no sound.

I recently just bought this from Amazon. It works for few days great sounds but it disconnected and stop working need help.
Having trouble connecting this to my audio technica turntable- any advice to Bluetooth it to my record player
how do you prevent this from going into standby. I want this powered on at all times even when I'm not playing anything. I have to use the remote to turn it on everytime i'm using my computer

@@TechWatcher mine does not, I have to turn on separately each time even with arc connected all the time

Does the sound audio sync with the picture via HDMI/ARC? I have tried a few soundbars and most have audio delay/echo(when tv speakers are on for testing purposes) issue. TCL 8i is probably the worst - like half a second behind picture. Vizio V-Series is barely noticeable. I live in a condo so I don't need a lot of bass.
yes it synced, but usually some audio sync calibration is still required if you want the best experience.
its most liley yr TV has a weak processor.

Does this unit broadcast via bluetooth or only receive from a BT device?
b5105 has support for bluetooth 4 and you can only use bluetooth sound from connected device, maybe via optical converter.
The sound is not that loud but good quality.. any tips on how to make sound even more loud?
try eq button on the remote, it willl help and make sure that u also raise, not only general, but also media volume level on the connected device.

I tried to connect this soundbar using my portable bluetooth via computer and asking me a PIN for pairing. Any idea where can i get the pin?
usually is 1234 or 0000, try to reset pin on the device

I have mine plugged in to the TV via hdmi but audio is still going through tv speakers. I pressed the hdmi button on the remote
Enable arc mode on the tv and it will connect automatically.

For web, movies and games go with ryzen version, but if you use any adobe apps go with intel. Its still better for editing.

When I'm on my switch the audio that's suppose to play when looking through games (like everytime i goes over a new game) plays for like the first couple i go over and then disappears when I disconnect the soundbar it works perfectly. how do i fix this.
I got it to connect through bluetooth. but with hdmi arc it doesnt seem to work properly. it's really annoying having to go into bluetooth setting to connect it for switch. but my roku works perfectly with the hdmi arc and cant connect to bluetooth. is there an easy way to fix this or do i just have to bite the bullet
Change sound output settings on the tv or pc or use different soundbar input

No, hdmi its useful for auto on off with tvs or other hdmi arc devices

@@J_Money_Tha_Truth1986 sound should work via 3.5mm audio or opctical or hdmi cable, check advanced settings for sound and volume levels.

Music: Sound bar's indicator blinks white for 3 seconds.

u need to press button source obn soundbar and press it until u see blue light. than u can connect it to the tv.
Can someone please help me it did say you didn’t need a power supply if you used a hdmi cable. I can’t get it to work

yes it loud enough and it has deep and wide stereo sound. its miles better than any tv speaker

yes its much better bass sound in comparison with standard built in tv speaker, so for the price it is quite punchy, thought low bass is still little shy, especially if you compare it with soundbar with subwoofer.
@@HolyEnchanta well it still can give a punch, so its fine if you watching tv with around 40% volume, in direct comparison with tv built in 20W speakers, this all in one soundbar has still a lot better bass at least 2x better.
Can we attach subwoofer on it?

Yes it will work, just turn on bluetooth on soundbar first and then it will pop up on bluetooth menu on the iPhone

una porqueria lo compre no tiene control de tonalidad, tien uno de tres puntos y son todos lo mismo, no gasten plata , yo lo compre soy tecnico en electronica y conozco del tema, es tirar la plata,
No la compren yo soy experto y la barra es mala ,no posee control de tonalidad mas yo creo que los ingenieros de philips no la pasaron por un analizador de espectro para darse cuenta, que responde mas a lis graves que a los agudos, tenes en el control un ecualizar con tres o cuatro opciones ,musica,noticias etc no hay diferencia, en una palabra tengo una pirqueria encima de la mesa y soy experto en la materia

Pero man es una sound bar low entry, es para tener un poco mas de fuerza que los speakers de tv... En provincia la tenes por 24 sin interes hoy, osea esta regalada, en 2 años 8000 pesos es una papel higienico
