Canon in D /Pachelbel

Composed as the first piece of the work "Canon and Gigue in D Major for 3 Violins and Passing Bass" around 1680, only the "Canon" part is currently performed prominently.
A canon is a pursuit as seen in a circular chorus.
This song is very simple in both melody and chord progression, yet there seems to exist an infinite harmony that never gets boring.
For me, it is a song of healing.
