DCI Motorsports pump gas Pontiac 455 with 6X heads

This is a Pontiac 455 we punched .030 over, ground and polished the factory cast crank, installed ICON forged pistons, Eagle 6.625 forged connecting rods, all floating on King and Speed Pro bearings. It has an all roller hydraulic valve train with a Comp Cams roller cam, Johnson hydraulic roller lifters, BOP Engineering polymer distributor gear, Harland Sharp 1.5 roller rockers, and Comp Cams valve springs. The factory iron 6X cylinder heads have been treated to a DCI Competition multi angle valve job and hand porting to bring the flow up to 230 CFM on the intake side and 180 CFM on the exhaust side. This combo typically makes between 450 to 500 HP on 93 octane. Will idle in traffic on hot 90 degree days around 180 degree's and run down the road around 170 degree's.
