"Hun bombers." :D I note that the armored glass greenish tint becomes visible only under certain angles of illumination (here, when in a steep bank or inverted). I overcome this problem by creating two overlapping window textures, assigning to the second one surface normals of opposing orientation. This reduces the illumination directionally issue to a fair degree. The ultimate solution would be to have 6 overlapping textures, each having a surface normal orientation such that the 6 together make for 3 mutually perpendicular axes. The reflector plate for the HUD has a bit of a contrast-reducing 'milkiness'. This is a common problem among reflector plates in this sim, due to everyone using the same basic method of application of the glass texture. The collimating lens is ridiculously tiny for such a large display it is presenting. The collimator cannot be smaller than the collimated image. The problem with incorporating specular reflection of sunlight from canopy glazing is that it is present under conditions that are impossible. In particular, if the plane orientation has the Sun directly under its belly (as when inverted), there can be no direct reflection off the upper canopy because the Sun is blocked by the plane's belly; the canopy is in shadow. Similarly, reflector plate faces must not have such specularity incorporated in the texture's .mat file, for direction from which the Sun must shine in order to so so has the reflector in shadow. Not that any of this reflects upon you, of course, as you're not the creator of the cockpit. ;) Cheers!
