Her daughter and the daughter's husband were sold to a Plantation in Virginia from where they escaped in 1773 ( as detailed in a Runaway Slave Ad) to Philadelphia then to Nova Scotia Canada. Another fourth great grandfather escaped Slavery in Virginia in 1779 also ending up in Nova Scotia Canada along with my maternal grandmother's maternal family. They and others seeking freedom must have been terrified but being a Slave with no hope of freedom was even more terrifying. This Skit should be a Short on PBS. February is Black History Month but we carry our collective History and generations of trauma 365 days of the year.

This is incredible acting. I literally did not notice the modern day decor or that the same actor was playing all the parts (I mean he did a romantic scene with himself!). I almost started crying when her love got shot! Or when that little shit was mouthing off - got me mad! If Jay ever gets discovered(why hasn’t that happened yet?) I only hope he doesn’t get commercialized and we lose his special touch that he gives us in his art on UA-cam!!! He blows my mind with his art!!!

Not very many actors can not only write the scripts, do the set-ups and lighting, do the directing etc. AND play every part themselves!!!! This guy is AMAZING!!! I love you Jay!!!♡♡♡♡

😮This was amazing! As good as it was, it also reminds us of what slaves had to go through and endure. Did Jay write all this? If so, he needs to write a screenplay or something and get a manager and get some movie rolls. He is truly multitalented!
