Having Mike and Tim on the channel is brilliant with the knowledge and are naturals Infront of the camera. It also gives Damon and Dave abit of time off with family and sort out admin stuff. can't wait to see Mike out on a drive/ rally with Damon and Dave. Now that would be the best, he's earned that sht
It blows my mind how great Mike worked out, with him, Tim, and Mark. Damon and Dave get some much needed rest and relaxation. And there's no sacrifice in content. Man I love ysob's.😂😂
Mike and his team really work well together. Seeing the process of something coming together makes for very good content. Shout out to the whole DDE team! You guys are doing a great job!
God I love Mike. Dude is a master of his craft. His patience and dedication is intoxicating. The passion this man has for vehicles that aren’t his own are inspiring. Keep it up brother, can’t wait to see this beauty completed!
I love how Mike shows us that the build is not always easy and he comes up with ways to make it work. Also love the new addition of Sean,. Tim as we all know is the true Star of the show.
So impressed by Mike, he gets better and better in every video! Glad that Damon trust him to make content on the channel! Time for Damon to open his pockets and surprise Mike with a exotic car so he can be in the driving content also! 💰💸🏎️🚗
Damon has no choice... too many YT content creators doing real mods... not just rims and an exhaust w/ a wrap. He was losing traction with his viewers and was forced to do this... But seriously... hats off to Damon for finding Mike. Whoever hooked Damon/Dave up with Mike deserves a finders fee purse... I only like videos with Mike and no Damon
Seriously guys the new direction that DDE is going is amazing. The content you guys are pumping out makes me feel compelled to watch every morning. Super excited to see these builds come together. The f12 720gtr and Dave's bentley are going to look crazy together!
i actually love how positive mike is. he’s like nothing here is going right or how we planned BUT we can do this this and this. always uplifting and we love it ❤
Mike and Tim have tuned this into must watch UA-cam. Mikes’s ability to explain complicated tasks to the average person is second to none. Best addition to any UA-cam car channel. The future is bright for Mike no matter what!
Mike is such a delight to listen to, his knowledge and the experience including the explaining on how everything works still baffles me. I love it! Keep cranking Mike, Tim and Shawn (Sean)👌🏼
Is there anything mike can't do? This guy blows my mind more and more every episode. Obviously Tim is incredibly talented as well. What a one two combo. Lights out
Thankyou for another amazing builds episode DDE FAM !! Loving every second, this is my favorite series. Custom everything takes a lot of time, but this F12 gonna be a beast when its finished🔥
Not putting in knock control is really asking for it. Also you should really think about putting in a bulk head connector to make it easier to service the car.
Knock Control is not a deal killer. The big problem with using it, is that the particular knock signature of the engine must be determined and it changes based on the physical components used and the way it’s mounted in the vehicle. The bottom line there is, you have to make the engine knock in order to characterize it, which most people are unwilling to do with a racing engine.
@@TunedbyShaneT This is the smartest answer I could've asked for. I've never worked with race engine but just a couple "street" engines already provisioned with knock control sensors and already well known. And since this is a street engine and not a billet block that's gonna run for 1/4 or 1/2 mile tops I thought it really needed a way to avoid smashing the valve train and granate itself if fuel is somehow contaminated or timing is off.
@@TommyThousandFaces that’s exactly what knock sensors are for. To protect the engine in the event that something takes it into a condition not accounted for in the calibration. Normally, racing are used in a very specific way so it’s easier to control variables than something driven on the street.
Mike is building the car, designing the car, fabricating the components, hosting the episodes, filming the ad rolls, interviewing the partner vendors, he needs to go solo ASAP.
I usually don’t watch DDE very often due to it being click baity and geared towards people who don’t work on cars on an in depth level. Now that you’ve got Shane T. Involved (one of the best tuners in the world) I’ve got to follow this series. I hope to see some of his knowledge shared on video. Thanks guys.
Mike Essa I started watching your older content whatever’s around on UA-cam ur great man and DDE has amplified it so much I’m glad everything’s going the way it is you and DDE will be unstoppable 💪🏼 please take care of Tim give him a piece of the pie 🙏🏼
Mike, if you ever feel overworked without being compensated, always feel free to make your own channel. Seems like they are using you more than what you signed up for
I want an episode surprising mike essa with something special because the guy is awesome to the channel! Thats a good call to have him and his team add to yourz. Ty for content from Portugal! ❤
These sob's are gettin us addicted to these build series vids nd,whn this ends we gonna miss this so much man, hope they keep building awesome buildsssss
mike and motec talking..... it is a 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯......... this kind of builds are suppose to be top secret...... but thanks to DDE Mike and team for teaching and sharing....... next level........
For your cutting jig issue.... Get spray adhesive and put 2 1/16" drywall shims (cardboard straps from home depot) around your jig. It will make up the space.
As a mechanic and owner of a tuning garage in Italy, i found watching Mike really inspiring and amazing to improve more and more our Job, that’s really interesting and entertaining also for us that already do this for work. Need also to improve my English 😅 Let’s go DDE 🔥
Im glade Mike is part of DDE. This build has become more then just twin turbo F12. Very knowledgeable and takes pride in his work with the finest details being explained to the viewers. Mike I hope you read all the comments, you're the best. ✊🏼
Ok, I'm not even done with the video yet and wow! It looks cool already! Can't wait to see this beast on street. With all the wild builds out there, this one will stand out!
I feel your pain with things fitting and not fitting. Not that I am working on an exotic car but this year I did an engine for my 69 Mach 1. It's a bored and stroked engine that required modifications to the plumbing, oil coolers, gas, etc. It was my first trip in using AN fittings and lines. I learned a lot and also how there are differences between manufacturers. I got the engine installed at the end of August but was unable to take it for a test ride till the end of October. It was waiting for one thing or another. But when it's done it's done right. Mike all of your skills are on display and it's good to see you're committed to doing it right and explaining things for the viewers. It'll make the first start up all the more sweeter knowing you did it right.

That conversation with MoTeC, was interesting to watch and helped validate what you are building, such a cool build.
If you are a MoTec tuner you are at LEAST Mike Essa level genius!
Mike can single-handedly run the DDE show with enough meaningful contents
He could easy start his own channel and do DDE. He’s basically running this channel anyway 😂🎉

Amazing work Mike, Tim, Shawn (Sean) and Mark! Loving the detail in these build episodes.
I like hearing Mike talk to others who have a similar level of understanding of how this stuff works - way above my head but intriguing
Mike is so impressively knowledgeable. It’s really nice to see how comfortable he’s gotten in front of the camera too.

Gotcha. But they're retaining the VVT so maybe it's one more variable that a race engine does not use and could lead to issues.
