Hey Mario, I'm glad to see that you're doing well. We all get discouraged some times and you just need to pick yourself up and carry on. I've seen it said before that the best way to succeed is to have your own niche and do it very well - there are an awful lot of people doing travel vlogs (of varying quality) so it's a very competitive market these days. It would be interesting to see more of your daily life there and how the farming is going. It would certainly be an interesting insight. I'm born and raised in Scotland and I can honestly say that I've never had any trouble understanding you so I don't think you need to worry about your English skills.

The reason why people lost interest is because it seems like it was started with you and Marjorie. Me being married to a Filipina thinking about moving to the Philippines you are now offering something different opposed to the beginning of the dream blog. He posted please I want to see about your chickens and your family and your farm, and what you were doing as a man an immigrant to the Philippines.

Now you have more that you can provide, explain about the plants your growing, the chicken and pig farming. its inspirational to see simple style living vs condo big city crap. most people in Condos are board all day channel surfing netflix. Your videos have always been great to wathc and entertaining. You live a normal guys type of life.

Your English accent is quite comforting to the ears so worry not. Lived upcountry in Thailand a few times, six months at a time - good way to save money and lose weight if you are not into the local food but they did have great fried chicken, rice and lots of fruit - similar in PI I would guess. Had okay internet and cheap beer so survivable but after six months the brights lights beckoned. You are totally at the mercy of your GF and what she tells the family about you, no secrets, and the locals are always trying to make face for themselves so can be amusing to keep ahead of the game.
Only seen a few of your vids Mario but have always enjoyed. You have a great online personality & attitude. Vlogging market is saturated & certainly lots of producers should think of giving up, you not one of them.... Keep it going!

Mario nice to see you back, I'm a very quiet guy and l always watched your vlogs and give a like but l think being honest there's nothing wrong with your vlogs but there are so many making videos and many are just rubbish, but it still takes people away to check out all these channels, I find most of your videos interesting and maybe because of the effort and time it takes to edit and lift up to you tube you were getting tired and as you said negative thoughts crept in, maybe you could do less videos say 1-2 per week ,some vloggers do every day and get burn out also, keep the videos coming Mario I'm sure many of us still enjoy watching you and Mrs Mario ,Cheers! I think now we can travel and work people don’t have the time to sit and watch videos.

Gday i have been following you for about 2 years and have enjoyed your vlogs. You bring back a lot of memories for me plus you do not talk bs. I have watched a lot of youtubers in the Philippines and you are 1 of 2 that i will always watch, the other is finnsnow. Like him you make it entertaining, so i vote keep on doing them
your a good man. 19k subscribers..........that is good. Bournemouth, the premier league football team, they get 10,000 people go to watch their home matches. You have double that number. My advice, follow your heart. If you enjoy to make the videos, carry on, continue. But if you really dont like, then you should stop. If you dont enjoy making the video, the viewers will see that, and maybe stop watching anyway. If you are not depending on income from You Tube, then dont worry about subscribers. Just do what you enjoy doing. But on the down side, yes, people do start to lose interest. I used to enjoy Paddy Doyle, but now, I cant be bothered to watch him. He is always complaining about something. But keep positive, enjoy what you do, and live life how you want to do. good luck in whatever you decide
