This makes me realize how important team 7 is to Kakashi. He never knew his Mom, his Dad committed suicide, Minato sacrificed himself for Naruto and the village, Obito sacrificed himself for Rin, and Rin sacrificed herself for the village. So really the only person he had remotely close to him before team 7 was Guy. But team 7 gave his life new meaning, and when he saw them seal away Kaguya as a team, that's why he said "I really love you guys"
I almost found no one mentioning Minato he should be mentioned for his sacrifice

I'd argue that Gaaras backstory is way more tragic considering it involves literally having your dad try to kill you several times.

My two favorite characters
Itachi of the Leaf: Played the villian so his brother could become strong and protect the Leaf, massively depressing backstory, smiling through thick and thin
Kakashi of the Sharingan: His best friend dies, his “lover” is killed by his hand, his father commits sepukku, his sensei dies to Kurama, he then teaches Naruto, the son of his sensei and the Jinchuuriki of the very beast that took his masters life, and still smiled through thick and thin
What I’m saying is Naruto’s most depressing characters are always the best, and that’s why I love the show, it may be a silly anime that gets a lot of shit, but it helped a lot of people through their child hood and through tough patches, it’s brought many people together, and it’s influenced people’s lives for the better, and for that, I am grateful to Masashi Kishimoto

Naruto might have been able to beat him on his own , but Nagato wouldn't go without putting up a fight, so he wasn't outclassed at all

Sorry if I was not happy with this song a year ago. But listening to it today when you know how Kakashi was a charavter who never complained about his childhood, this really made me cry from the inside. Honestly, I think the song could've been a flashy rap like the gojo rap or the boruto rap, but we all agree that this is the perfect rustage could've done for someone as amazing as kakashi. It was one of the few times rustage sang at that time and that makes the vibe of this song completely different. Respect man
