Yesterday Israel was accused of genocide in Gaza by South Africa. Today, it was Israel's turn to mount its defence, accusing South Africa of distorting the truth in what amounted to a gross libel.

To be honest I now think the whole area should once again be called Palestine and the vast majority of Israeli's should leave unless they are willing to go through a Truth and Reconciliation tribunal along with Palestinians and form a joint government in one state called Palestine.

Since Hamas does not care about civil deaths, but that helps them as propaganda, they do not allow them to leave the area. Those are the facts. All those dead civilians are Hamas's responsibility. I wish Krishnan would have pushed back whenever Eylon talks about " Israel having the right to defend itself" by saying no one is arguing that Israel has this right, its more about the almost indiscriminate manner in which they are going about "defending themselves" that is the crux of the issue. Way more civilians have been killed than Hamas militants so it is clear they are not targetting Hamas specifically.
Look how precise the targeted strike was on the deputy Hamas leader in Lebanon Saleh al-Arouri, that is an example of Israel taking precaution. What they are doing in Gaza is far from precise and measured.

How come the complaints that the released hostages have made all have to do with things like lack of enough food, lack of enough bathroom visits, lack of enough water and lack of enough outdoor time? My point being, _I_ don't want to live in a world that would find for Israel.
