No one cares that another UA-camr modded GTA:5 to be more like GTA:6 & blah blah blah... its been done a million times already. Hey, I actually joined that group. Apparently they are making the mod for the Mobile port as for now. I almost forgot I've joined that group because nowadays I went to VK to watch Koskha videos, Russian CS headlines and Russian Drift Scene. Actually you can increase render distance using 2DFX. But expect some lag.

this is definitely the case. Trains in SA are extremely strict with their set paths. For example, you can spawn props that are otherwise immovable, and the train will just phase through. There are even glitches that can cause a train to go off track and fly straight to the next station it's instructed to go to and would fly through mountains, buildings and other terrain to do so. Which is probably the glitch that happened in the video judging by how it's going in a straight line, it's trying to get to a station that no longer exists basically.
That's going to happen at some point. I've always seen these map backports as a showcase of the insane feats that are possible, so I don't think GTA VI will be any different.
I always thought it was a cool concept seeing the other games maps in different game engines. each engine has its own style and atmosphere, and its really cool getting to see them combined.
@@FREAKYNOCTUASA had many features, which is why it was slow on the PS2. VC's _may be_ the faster one. SA's perhaps had more optimizations implemented, but anyway. Wondering if they'll take inspiration from V and IV for optimization (I know IV's performance on PC is not great, but the PS3 had some parts quite brilliantly designed - it was just not accepted by developers for some of its inconsistencies that made if _different_ - and if IV and V are learnt from, it'll be great to see these older games' engines using the similar designs). Perhaps they will've written entirely new engines optimized as much as IV's and V's - by the time this actually happens (probably won't be "20 or 30 years" if legal issues and disinterest don't take over). Like, an entirely different executable that runs as long as assets are available - or at least, changes in the game's code along with some remnants or straight-up _clones_ of the game's older APIs - or some kind of conversion - that still lets old mods work, even with most of the binary's code overhauled with newer design practices. *My text may sound like gibberish since it's a bunch of ideas and not a full explanation.* A programmer _might_ understand.

I was playing this mod when i was a kid in 2014 when it barely had downtown area and franklins hood. since then I have never heared anything about it because it got taken down by rockstar. Very sad it vanished from the world. It's great that you cover this modification again
Great mod. I would like to reduce the number of polygons on the models, but at the same time they would look good and here you have the atmosphere of the games of 2005
Rockstar would made ton of a deal if they let this group do definitive edition, same missions on different map would definetly be definitive, deserving such price tag.
This is great, though some times I wish we could somehow see a good blend of both the original San Andreas map with the GTA 5 map, make it so San Andreas' story mode is still playable and you have the appropriate iconic locations from the game, but you've also got the better sights and locations from GTA 5
3:41 it's probably just spawning where the rails would be on the SA map had you not replaced it. Either that or it's the rare pathing glitch seen near the peir in GTA5 where other vehicles spawn on the boat's path. I've legit seen cars drive on water in that area.
It's good to see, when modders doing biggest mods to push game limits EVEN furthest than you can imagine. Also, I want to see, when authors of this mod will make driving physics mixed between IV and V
The RenderWare engine was one of the best gaming engines in the early 2000's. so much so that R* got inspired to make the RAGE Engine,based on Rockstar San Diego's previous Angel Game Engine (AGE), that and the fact the engine was 3rd party and eventually sold off and shelved, otherwise the RenderWare Engine would still be in use. Most of the engines limitations are hardware, software side could have been updated easily to accommodate modern hardware. Just comparing the renderware versions of gta with the RAGE Engine version of gta's files, one can see just how similar the file structure is between the 2 despite using different game engines.
Very interesting comparison, and it just goes to show that in reality GTA 4 , EFLC and 5 could be ported to modern day Android, Ios, Linus, Blackberry devices (well at least benchmark devices and not the weaker models).
Honestly, the GTA games don't even make full use of everything Renderware had to offer (which would absolutely be too ambitious to run on the PS2 at the scale of GTASA mind you), but Black is a great example of what GTA could've looked like had memory & storage not been a factor.

There's a mod called GTA stars and stripes that adds a USA like map with the GTA 3 liberty city and vice city as Miami Even has some other cities too Definitely check that one out
