I'm a white woman and I was drinking the kool-aid as most of us were, by watching main stream media.
In 2017 after deleting a friend from my facebook for speaking on Trump's behalf, I asked myself why would I do that and why so much hate?
So I decided to research and investigate on why people voted for Trump and darn if I didn't went through the rabbit hole...
I felt so ashamed of my behavior and my intolerance on other people's choices and realized that the whole freedom of speech only worked when it was something I agreed on.
A couple of years later and I'm feel more freedom that I ever felt, no more hate, intolerance and more than anything the ability to hear all sides of the story... and how much I've learned from it!
We'll never evolve if we only hear from one perspective.
