I, an actual grandma, hears that I have to climb a ladder to access the evil lair and shudders. I can be as evil as the next grandma, but i ain't climbing ladders. I might fall and break a hip.
what if hacker grandma truly isn’t even a grandma? she’s actually deep uncover as a grandma and when she gets up into her hacker room she can peel off her disguise and get down to business
I thought of that too. in my version it would have an electric chair instead, like those chairs that can be attached to stairways. I think that plays with an evil hacker better, and it's sillier to imagine her laughing manically while it slowly escalates into her hacker lair.
I thought of that too cause my grandma's can't climb ladders I don't know who's grandma can but whoever she is good for her
The Bisexual Rat My grandma rides horses, work at Ikea, takes care of the stable and horses. And I’m 32 so my grandma isn’t like 40 years old lol
Sherry Brissette i’m 21 years old and am not gonna climb a ladder 😂😂

Yes, I have bookcase door. It’s at my bowling room, and when you walk trough it, you get into the cat cafe, where I have 4 cupcakemachines. Yes.
Maybe you should make a Cat Cafe that has a cup cake machine, a glass roof, and a bookshelf door leading to an underground bowling alley then call it “Are you happy now?”

Like sims3 ones. Those are so cool and actually work as shelf. Sims4 ones are awful and look so obvious that feel dumb .-.
@@bloodyMery11 agreed. You can’t hide it or make it blend in with other bookshelves! It looks too obvious next to the real bookshelves!
@@amberb.6395 make a wall of bookshelf doors lol
Now I’m questioning my grandparents’ book room… it’s like a library and there are no empty shelves. Hmm..
My uncle has a “secret room.” It just looks like the wall, so all you have to do is push it to open it. He keeps his gaming stuff in there... like a man cave!
Idea: make a cat cafe with a bowling alley, cupcake machine, bookshelf door, and a glass roof.

Came here just to suggest the same thing. A built that includes all the ideas twitch chat always asks for!
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees
My house has a secret door in the living room. It honestly just looks like any other of the wood panels and no one ever notices it unless we point it out. We use it as an office/library.
Oh, that's cool!!
My grandparent have the same sort of thing in their basement, they use it as a pantry.
why???? who thought to build a secret door
That's so dope I want that
T.B. Caine me, cause why not?
my grandparents actually have a secret room behind their fireplace. It was the first room that was originally built onto the house and they don't really use it but it's accessible through a staircase in the basement. If someone has the light on in there you can see it through the fireplace! (they think it was originally meant for storage)
You built a secret attic. That can only be accessed through a ladder. For a grandma. In a house that should be age appropriate. Oh kayak that's a safety hazard
I like to think that she has one of those chairs that take people can’t walk up stairs up stairs attached to it. Or the cats lift her
Did your comment autocorrect Kayla to kayak 😂

Only issue for me is the concept of an elderly lady climbing up and down a ladder everyday for her hobby like she’s got arthritis her joints ain’t what they used to be no way she’d be laddering her way around
That’s what I was thinking! Poor grandma and her arthritis!
Her cats carry her up. DUUUUUH
(Its a joke don’t come at me😂)
Ben Breytenbach oh ya! Duhhh
My grandma is 70 something and she can do so much more than me it's weird. I can't get her to sit down and relax, so it's not too suprising to hear an evil grandma and her evil ladder lair
She lives in Glimmerbrook, so maybe she's magiced herself to be free of old people illnesses and the like
“So she can steal money from you!”
“Maybe she works for the government”
Pretty sure that's the same thing

I'm trying to convince my husband that we need a bookshelf door in our living room (in real life, obv) because I find incredibly annoying the storage room door. It ruins the aestetic, if it make sense. His opinion is that the door would be to heavy to open and we actually use that room a lot, but I think is worth it 😂
i feel like a great april fools day prank would be for simsie to stream her building something that includes all of the most suggested items (glass roof, bookshelf door, ect.) to a crazy extent and not acknowledge it at all lmao

My relative actually does have a secret room. Two secret rooms. They live in a house in the countryside, and it's one of a set of houses built by the same family (in the early 1800s). For the one that's really secret, you have to pass a little door in a wardrobe to get in. It was used as a play area for kids for a long time. The other one was made for guests or travelers on horseback. It's pretty much an annex, and there isn't a door to get into the main house so they won't steal stuff at night.
lil simsie talking on yt about stuff that happened on streams is when you missed school and your friends are trying to catch you up on all the drama that you missed.

When I was little I planned like my dream home, and I imagined my mom had a huge library with a secret bookshelf door, and inside that room there was a money machine lol
i have a secret room, it's just sort of a hollow space between the 1st and second floor. There are trap doors on the floor/ceiling to get in there
but the room is only like 1m tall and it's kind of hard to get in there since you can only open it from the bottom aka the ceiling -> you have to climb on the kitchen counters and everything to get in.

I have a tiny bookshelf door !! Basically there's a tiny bookshelf that's encased in my wall but not attached, so I can take it out and crawl into the attic/wall. I put some fairy lights and carpets and pillows in there and it's become my little reading/napping/crying nook, my parents still don't know it exists even though its been like 6 years x)
"they have such tiny doors, how do you get furniture in there"

My friend had one where a shelf under his stairs was on hinges. Never knew until he hid there for hide and seek. Nearly drove me crazy, seeing as we were in the same room and I could hear his disembodied voice coming from the walls.
My grandpa custom built their house. He made a specific room over the garage for the kids called “the play room” but really it was a huge space for toys (when we were younger) and our video games and a TV just for us kids. The best part of it is it had a SECRET PASSAGE WAY to get in through a bedroom BOOKCASE DOOR!!! The door led to the a small hall that had low ceilings that opened up into a normal sized room. Loved that house.
The hilarious thing is that the spark'd challange tab is just spammed with people who aren't even interested in completing the challange.
That’s internet in a nutshell, kids and dumb people who doesn’t think of others. Yes I’m bitter today, people has become cuntier than ever online now with the quarantine and everything.
@@missundies A large part of that is due to the other worse people that think if they ignore the problem (dumb idiotic people online) that it will suddenly go away.. so people end up feeling like they can get away with just about anything online. Another large part are the parents not teaching their kids that there are actual people behind it. Like you're not just the internet I'm communicating with.. you're an actual person living your life somewhere.
Wait you should make a build using all of the most comment suggestions you get!!! Like a blue suburban with a bookshelf door into a bowling ally room that has a glass roof😂
And a cUPCAKE MACHINE-
Joey graceffa has a hiddrn rainbow doof, and every time it opens, just incase someone saw which book it was to open the door, he changed it so every time the hidden lever/door handle thing would be a different book
Funnily enough, when we were kids, my brother did have a secret room off his bedroom. It was actually hidden by a set of two bookcases that you pushed apart to reveal the room. It was a small room with a slanted roof so we made it into a den type space with a built in daybed and a few bookshelves plus storage.
When we moved in, it wasn’t hidden but was a small storage room in one of the house’s dormers. When we were about 10, my mum wanted to refurbish parts of the house after my parents divorce and my brother asked for the room to become a secret room. For whatever reason, my mum agreed and they designed the room and it’s hidden door based on what they thought would be cool hence the bookcases.

I have a bookcase door. Built it myself, hides my laundry room/closet. Nothing interesting in there, I half built it because I wanted a secret passage somehow, and half built it because having a door there was awkward and I really needed a bookcase. It's just a shallow bookcase with a piano hinge on caster wheels. It doesn't lock or anything, you can just push it open, and it's heavy so it stays put wherever I leave it. I keep showing it off, but no one thinks it can move, so it does actually work as a secret door. I love that kind of stuff.
A local funeral home in my hometown has a bookshelf door. The house is historical, and was built by a women's suffrage icon and her husband. The funeral home now uses it for record storage.
I still think if you do a build with the cupcake machine, it should be a house for the muffin man. It would be called Drury Lane. 🍀
Video idea: every room is a different size (obvi) but what I mean is that you spin the wheel for the size of every room like for eg. you could get a 3x2 bedroom and a 10x8 bathroom
And a 2x4 kitchen
I don't have a bookshelf door, but I had a friend who had a fridge door. So like it was a hole in the wall they covered with a kids fridge and you can open the fridge and crawl inside this entire mini hallway. There was another entrance and it was inside a desk, like you could open a shelf of the desk and crawl out. It was pretty cool
My grandmas family had a house with a secret room. Her cousins room was the secret room so every day they would have to crawl into the small door hidden in their siblings bedroom closet. It was a fully furnished bedroom but the only entrance was the small crawlspace type door in the closet, but it did have a window. So basically they had to tie the furniture with ropes and haul them up the side of the house and pull them in through the window. I think originally the room didnt have a window but it was later added for safety reasons. It was a super old house in upstate New York.
My aunt had a bookshelf door in her old house. She used it as a closet. Why her closet? If I had a secret bookshelf door I wouldn't put my closet behind it.
lmao
Teehawsims that is a fair point
I love how she talks about her Twitch chat as it's one big entity 😂😂
Twitch chat sometimes feels like a really weird hivemind for the streamer they watch lol. Like if you go into one person's chat, they are completely different from another person's, but they all think and say basically the same things. It's hilarious lol
Grandma is actually a former secret agent, and her husband too. A movie was based off of his life, but she and their closest friends from the old times are the only ones that knows that. After her husband died, grandma started adopting lots of cats, in honor of his kindness to animals. The hacker room is for her research on the mysterious strangerville plants, that she suspects about. Grandma is not evil, she's just a kindly hacker (we exist too 😢)
I have a secret door in the basement. It’s sorta kinda obvious (probably because it’s always open lol). there’s just a freezer, washer and dryer, water softener, etc. We just use it for storage mostly.

Ok but we got a “secret” room in our house: in my parents room there are a lot of closets (like the ones “glued” to walls Sorry idk the name for that in english)
If you go opening the closet doors, you will eventually find a bathroom. It’s kinda random but guests find it funny
It’s called fitted wardrobes lmao 😂😂 ( in England anyways)

in my parent's house, there is a bookshelf door for their bedroom and bathroom!
my father and his friend do this and it's really not obvious, it's very cool and when someone come for the first time, they didn't notice that there is a room on the other side of the bookshelf 😭
it's a long bookshelf, and there is just one entry to push up to come in, and I love it!

Her name is grandma Jill and the builds name is Grandma Jill’s Home. It’s my first build I think actually turned out good. Oh and her husbands grave is in her yard. And her grandson room is still in her home and her grandson comes and visited all the time and helps with the plants and dogs. my best friend has three tiny doors leading to secret rooms, they will take apart all the furniture and move it inside and then build it inside the secret room, also most people with the tiny doors put a bookcase or dresser in front of it to make it even more secret

Or... build a house for 4+ sims without interior walls (i.e. one room)
My parents have a trap room in their closet (they have two closets). They told me it was very hard to get stuff in it. Also they told me that’s why they will not move soon lol! And if we ever moved the house would be so expensive. Also how you get furniture in the secret room is you have to get furniture you make yourself so you can bring the box in and then assemble whatever you want.

My great grandpa built a bookshelf door in the garage. He moved out of the house and my grandparents and I moved in. It was always fun to say it’s (whatever you’re looking for) in the secret room. It was mainly used for storing holiday decorations when it was ours. It had so much potential...

Of course but for the sake of seeming friendly, she's referred to as a Grandma. Calling her "old woman" wouldn't be as charming. XD
As a cable technician I have seen secret rooms, behind bookshelf doors, under secret trap doors, and even a staircase that lifted up.
It’s not a bookshelf door but I have a panel that’s like 2ft by 2ft in my closet that you can unscrew from the wall that goes in to attic space. I think it’s pretty cool so yeah
lilsimsie: "a lot of times they have like tiny doors too, like how do you get furniture down there?"
IKEA: exists
Screws and screwdrivers too
I once visited a house in San Francisco with a bookcase door. That being said the house was built in the 1880’s/90’s and the bookshelf was extremely wide.
When I was working as a nanny I went with the family to tour houses that they were looking to buy. We saw one house with a bookcase door- it was in the father's office and clicked into the wall, so you had to push on the right spot to get it to open. It opened to a stairway down to the basement where there was essentially a massive entertaining area- movie theater, games room, wine room, etc. It was pretty awesome.
You should definitely make grandma and her cats, and you could do a let’s play with her, or at least with her as a character in it.
Idea: I build Twitch Chat's dream home... Then UA-cam Chat's dream home.
PLot twist: what if grandma isn't evil she is pretending to be evil so she can stop this weird plant (drug) from spreading more and being dealt, so shes undercover and thats what the strangerville plants are
Honestly, the bookshelf room in my grandma's house is just the same size as a normal door so furniture isn't too hard to fit in. But leading to that same room, she also has this mini door leading to it and from the bedroom it is in she has a small door that opens into a cabinet into the living room next to the bedroom. It's pretty dang fun going through and just appearing out of a cabinet in the wall.
My cousin's study room/cop uncle's mini library room was behind the only bookcase door I have ever seen in their home in CA. It was in the finished lower level off a nook used for his treadmill which was off an open space family room with kitchenette for when relatives stayed over (hi *wave*). It was just big enough for a desk and a few tall bookcases but 9-yr-old me thought the bookcase door was the coolest thing in the world!
Build challenge: make a house or any build shell and every room is a different Disney movie, Pixar movie or any other movie
This grandma reminds me of a super villain called the gambler who is an old man hacker with a cat, who talks like if KFC was a person
I have a tiny shelf room and what we did is since we had to redo a wall we just put the furniture in there before we put the doors on since it has 2 entrances than we did all the redecorating and painting and fixing random small details in the wall and all that then put the door on
You never fail to make me smile, you're so funny and entertaining and honestly your friends should be happy the managed to find someone like you, you're just all around a good person even if those sims stories can get a little dark
