Passport is made on current address that is where you are living right now. The address that gets printed on Passport is that one. You need to submit the adress proof for that address only and hence book appointment for that location. You can go to your permanent location and book appointment but that could be outside the rules and you may invite serious trouble if the police find out during verification.

Sir aaj meri passport renewal ki date thi , lekin mai apne saath 10th class ka certificate le jana bhool gaya as a residence proof...to mai passport office ke baahar se hi wapas aa gaya , mujhe phir se new date leni hogi , mera question ye hai sir ke ek baar date par na jaane se koi problem to nhi hogi na passport renewal mein...thnx
