- Food is dwindling, but our numbers must grow. Despite the mounting raid threats, it is time to bring new Dwarven live into the world!
Another exploratory, chill Biotech run before we get into the super challenging stuff! This time we're testing out custom Xenotypes, genes, and children! ...lots and lots of children.
This is the first ever edited stream run for the channel! It will be a learning process. I am both excited and anxious to get these out to you! Be nice, lol.

*No Pause - Adam is using a mod that disables pause in every portion of the game. This means it is impossible for him to pause with a key press and the game will not pause during events or trade, making things much more difficult.
** Losing is Fun set to +500% is the hardest difficulty in unmodded RimWorld

SoulSapper is so super immune that they've looped back around and are getting all the evil mutated variants of every disease
my best melee blocker for my mountain base is a Yeeta-kin Sangifage with a painless persona mono sword. The man simply refuses to die, we don't have cataphact armor for him yet, only marine. I have two more support melee guys but the Yeetakin would rip thier arms off like Chewbacca

If you're struggling with food in the short-term you could set the growth vats to only use meals, that effectively halves the amount of mushrooms they need in exchange for the labour to turn those mushrooms into meals first

I had similar disease issues in one of my playthrough. Within the first 3 days of the colony a single pawn got 4 different diseases, which was very odd to say at least.
Oh man, I got used to those eps now and the weekend before bedtime feels lonely

I also had one specific colonist get ravaged by disease with Cassandra with strong immunity. Seems like a bug.
The noise a chainshotgun makes is so satisfying. I really want to do some kind of run that involves a lot of shotguns.
Loving the new edited playlists, glad you chose to go in that direction, I personally enjoy it but it'll probably be good for the channel too

I have a quick question, would this 30 minute video be the same time frame as your usual multiple hour long videos? If so I think these edited videos are absolutely amazing, the editor does such a great job making audio and video mix perfectly, even if it isn't the same 3 hour long video compressed into 30 minutes I still love the edits and makes for a great video

how are the stats cause for me personaly i love the new format i will still put the full one to lurk on while i do other stuff but those are nice to keep up to date to your gameplay

So, i havent had a ton of spare time to play around with Biotech all that much, but vat babys are worse then having them raised by there parents? How is that? just curious how they would come out worse when the baby cant develop skills early on from what I've seen on a few runs from some YTers.
As an aside, I hate the breach raids are still such a glitchy mess. I honestly still think they were a poor addition. Maybe if they acted normal once there was path in. But stuff like you having to kite funny at 14:10 is what is annoying lol
It'd be nice if you could move the NordVPN ad somewhere else, perhaps smaller, under your face-cam?
There are specific rules on where I can have it and how big/bright it is. I already moved it in newer episodes to a place they are fine with, though.
