Glenn Thomas has anyone thanked you for posting this incredible live performance??? Because the world would be a lesser place without it. Thank you so much sir!
This was my wedding waltz song in 1990.....started off with a few bars of a classical waltz then Jimmy & Mossy burst in over the top of the classical song... Really raised some eyebrows 🤣
Was it five nights straight at the Entertainment Centre as a storm hit Sydney ,I think the last night - Friday.and a incredible moment in time. Chisel performance at the Festival of Australian music at Gosford never left me also.
Watching a chisel special on max last night and they finished with this off the last stand 1am and im sober dancing on the lounge when these guys rocked they were without peer in this country and more than matched anything overseas a truly great band
@@democlips1 Oh, he's going all right. Going strong. Check out "Jimmy Barnes - Stone Cold feat. Joe Bonamassa". ua-cam.com/video/IyXFHr5jylI/v-deo.html No human being, alive or dead, could describe THAT performance as "burned out". He has mellowed, but can still SMASH it. (Oh, and it was written by the Cold Chisel keyboard player Don Walker).
I was there, f'ing brilliant and the one 3 months before in with a different girlfriend two of the best concerts ever, only second to the Circus Animals concert in the Big tent at Wenthworth grey hound track back in 81. Please let me go back there
What a time to be in your youth. No cameras, no bouncers stoping you from having fun. Lead singer sculling out of a long neck, head banging with the crowd peacefully. V8 Pannel Vans and Chisel are for ever etched in my life
This shit right here is exactly why my American Wife can't understand why, in my mid 50's, I can still drink 2x 1750ml (half US gallon) bottles of Bourbon in a week,... Growing up in Australia, this was my music, my life, my culture lol. She hates me ;)

40 years I’ve been playing this & still feel a rush of excitement. Xx
Me too!!! Live and loud for donkey years👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
That’s rock and roll at its best! I made a point of having a beer at the Largs Pier Hotel when I was in Adelaide earlier this year.
Honestly 559 likes, are you freakin' kidding me? 20 million likes should be where it's at!

Nothing but the best rock band in Australia
I was there at the last of the Last Stand concerts. Such an incredible blast up the front on the floor. It was like the Chisel pub and club days.
That would have been awesome⭐️

This guy has the best rock voice in the world. Who else could do this all night? And not burn out? They took no prisoners every time I saw them.
He did burn out though

That guitar tone from Mossy is incredible. I would love to know how to replicaate it.

Barnsey, you are a legend; Mossy, you are brilliant...👌👌👌
@cold chisel hello 🤘🤘🤘
@cold chisel Thank you for your kind offer, "Cold Chisel", but I'm always happy to pay to see Chisel in action.
AC/DC and INXS might have had more success, but these blokes were THE BEST band we've ever had

Baaaad Asssssss! 💖💖💖
Some unseen footage there. Awesome
hmm, the whole band, mossy is great, jimmy is perfect, the band is legendary !
Who says being drunk doesn't work? He made a career out of it!
Shit and disrespectful comment.
That's a shit statement .
Australia's answer to Led Zeppelin
Rocked out to the video every Saturday night in the ‘80s with a bottle of Smirnoff... then go out and drink more... don’t drink anymore.
Don’t drink anymore. But don’t drink any less right?
@@grantharrismusic sometimes, but try not to.

Crowd surfing “Jimmy” style! Aussie rock at its best…
Great song. I thought Last Stand was Largs Bay pub?
@6:10 I would love to know if Barnsey and Mossy sitting and singing together was planned or improvised.
Goes to show...the troggs had no idea on how to play this song...

A Davo lad to the end !
